hey all just thorght i throw some pics up of the mrs new car
its an ef 2 opt 20 xr8

it has had a bit of work done, gt40 heads ported ,pollished explorer manifold , au maf and throttle body ,tickford hand built covers lol, 246@50 wade cam, au roller rockers, pacemakers , 2 3/4" cats, 3" system, kitted auto 2800 stall, 4.11 lsd

that was a guy on aff's wasnt it? seems to have a habit of buying nice ef/el's then selling them lol.

i liked it better before he painted the red stripe. but still mint as.

yea its lees old car, we have had it a while now, only had e7s on it when we got it, he said it made 198rwkw , but it goes alot better now with the gt40 heads and au maf and throttle body, its enough for the wife anyway lol

seen this car in geelong a few times.. very clean car..

lol all of lee's cars 'make' heaps of power.. would love to see 198kw with e7's!

thanks all for your comments, the mrs likes it with the red stripe so it will probly stay that way, i have some afr 210 alloy heads and trick flow manifold sitting here as well as 90mm throttle body and maf and a microtech fuel only computer and siemens 60 pound injectors out of my turbo that it will see in the future should make well over 200rwkw then and we will be happy

Yeah i dunno now the red stripe does break it up a bit.. would look different in person i guess.
They would be some decent upgrades! just make sure you don't go overboard with the TB and heads.. don't want it to lose too much low down power.

keep it red its an XR.
also one color is to plain unless you got some "i got money rims" to be the focuses point of the car. AJR signatures are nice but not nice enough with out the red in my opinion.

other ef has au engine full ba interior seats, dash , door trims consol and wheel, some of you may have see it at all ford day last year it was wearing riphrt plates and did not have a kit or shockwave paint, these pictures were taken only hours after it was rolled out of the spray booth

Cant wait for my bar to arrive after seeing that ef. Both cars look awesome! Not sure whether Im more keen on the red stripes or all black myself but I reckon it would look great with no wing.
