not much news guys

i got an email today from Street Commodores

'You keen on having the car shot for the magazine?' :)

went to VPW and bought a bit of shit.

i got:
- Black Braided Hose
- 150 Degree Fitting
- Black Billet Hose Clamp
- Hex Hose Covers

i needed longer hose and a different fittin because on the passenger side rocker cover i have a 180 Degree fittin but it makes the hose rest on the cover and the actual hose is too short.

i got everythin home i realized everythin he gave me was too small it was -10 fittin where i needed -12. i dont know whose fk up it is cause i wrote on my paper -12 but they are gunna swap everyin over anyways

heres some pics of the hex covers

Got Back up to VPW and swapped the wrong Dash Fittings over

180 Degree fittin restin on the rocker cover

Braided hose which i cut too short (god i hate workin with the fibre braided hose)

not springs, but uncle occys chop shop cuttin somethin again haha

so had the port melb meet on the weekend, which resulted in me on the side of the road, fixin the bracket for the alternator which was about to fall off.

after fixin it i noticed one of the trumpets had pulled outta the sleeve and done a bit of damage. got order a new one no biggie

also got a new reserve tank. its one step closer to having the towers clear of everything.

got the mounting spot from Jesses VN.

i got some shiny bits for my car. the strut tops caps are awesome, but i had dramas with the strut top dome nuts and brake booster bracket.

i wont bad mouth the supplier, but he does advertise his items to suit VS and they clearly dont (and uses different better looking items in his ad's).

Image

as you can see its the wrong way around and no way i can bolt it up. but anyways a problem which i gotta rectify for someone cutting corners in life.

Image

Image

the dome nuts i had to trim the thread down so they'd screw down.

Image

Image

and just a random pic reversed out the shed :)

Image

i spoke to the guy about the bracket about 4 o'clock yesterday. check my mail box today and the new bracket was in there. NSW to VIC.

he didnt fk around lol, im happy with his service and the parts :)
