I've said it before but EL XR's with the big tickford kit have got to be the best looking eseries IMO.

Sucks about the stack but seems like you came out on top!

Had a change with tail lights, went back to the ef style rear lights

Also changed to slotted rotors, with gold painted hubs but still trying to work out a colour for the calipers. Any ideas? Thanks

I'd go for black, it'll give it a clean look and go well with the gold hubs. IMO any other colour makes the single piston calipers look even smaller than they already are. Rear isn't too bad, but the front calipers are tiny lol.

By the way, mint XR6! Sucks to hear about what happened with the EF, but looks like it worked out for the better :D

love the new ride man, shame about the old one it was a nice piece of work. +1 for the black calipers. What sort of paint did you use on the rotor? did you sand it or anything or just paint straight away?

Thanks bud!
Yea its a shame but these things happen somtimes :(
I used VHT caliper paint on the rotors.
I just wire wheeled the hub back, got all the rusty crap off it, wiped down then painted straight to the hub.
Then applied VHT clear coat paint.

Sweet my rotors are brand new not even on the car yet, so i reckon it would be all good to just paint.
