Few updates here for the xr6.
I went and seen Mr CVE for some new toys.
Ive orderd in a extreme cushion button clutch, flywheel, presure plate ect, and a hurst billet short throw shifter.

Image

Also have had a new kenwood double din headunit installed. Looks much classier than previous :p
Still need to upgrade speakers and amp which will be coming soon! still deciding on what to go for. Was thinking the Polk Audio MM splits? but they have a pretty big price tag behind them :-(

Afew weeks ago, I came across some 17inch au series 2/3 xr wheels in pre au.
I had them painted up in a gloss black. Just for a different look for my car.
Here's how they turned out.

Should look good I reckon, gloss black wheels go surprisingly well against a dark car (had a similar look on my EF so I might be a little biased lol). Looking forward to seeing pic's when they are on

I like both your wheel choices! Back in 2004 my mate had some EL GT’s on his XE, I first thought they were real and wondered why he spend like $3000 on some wheels for a car that would have been worth no more than about $2000. Then he told me they were copies. I went down to the local wheel joint and asked about them and what other Pre-AU Wheels they could get in. I ended up ordering some AU II’s. When I went to get them fitted, the guy at the shop says he also got some BA XR8 rims in as well, so we put them both up against my car to see which I liked better. I was 18 at the time, the BA’s were a bit shinier, so I chose them! Haha. But still love the AU II’s.

Well its been a little while since ive updated my showroom thred.
Some might know wombi90 (Justin Forbes) from here, well he sold his el xr6 and i was lucky enough to grab the koni yellows from him that he had in the xr.
My car has such better ride now! :)
Image

Also I ordered the ice ignition system and some new spark plugs through Paul CVE
Image

While I was at it I got a j3 chip and tune through Paul CVE and tuned by Paul at hallam performance on there new dyno. Pretty happy for pretty much a stock xr to make 141rwkw
