Scott's BA XR8

Hey all, Been a while since I've been on here
after my EF XR6 turbo was defected and my daily EF Gli was starting to die I got myself into a 2003 BA XR8 with all the extras bar the bigger brakes
It's got Leather, Premo sound, Sunroof and of course Manual.
As soon as I got it home :

First thing I did was remove the wind deflectors from it and replace the broken cup holder with a BF cup holder.
Next was getting the contre console lid re-trimmed in leather with red stitching

Next up was to replace the not so fantastic sound sytem provided by ford.
Head Unit - CD/DVD/iPod player connected to play through the factory screen
Front Speakers - Focal 165KRX2's
Rear Speakers - Focal 165VR's
Subs - Eclipse SW8210's
Amps - Subs: Alpine MRP-2000 Speakers: Focal Solid4
Sound Deadening - Combo of Focal B.A.M and Dynamat
Boot - Fibreglass boxes, Custom Amp rack and false floor
Battery - Optima Yellow Top
Wiring - 0/1 Ga all the way through

Next up was the Bluepower CAI

Recently I've just been doing some general maintenance on it and fixing some of the common BA problems and a few other minor jobs.
-Sprayed Brake callipers red
-Replaced the missing buttons on the roof lining
-Removed rear muffler (temp until I have the money for a full exhaust)
-Cleaned the drivers seatbelt and silicon sprayed the hole it goes into so it now retracts properly
-New rear shocks
-The passenger side scuff plate was missing the metal XR plate so I replaced them both with XR8 ones
-Flushed out the coolant and put in a cooler thermostat
Next jobs are to replace those damn noisy timing chain tensioners and new tyres
then I can start playing with it again
