ITUF65 4lt mustang once on L.P.G and now on E85

Hi guys thought i'd start a thread on my car it's a 65 mustang with an AU turbo running on L.P.G been building this car for a few years now and finished it off about 2 yrs ago
the car has gone a best of 9.20@148 but has run 153mph Jason ghiller and I built the car with all the fabrication done by jason here are some spec's

au engine
sps pistond
H-beam rods
wade cam and tunnel vision billet rockers
TunnelV plenum and manifold
GTX45r
gas research lpg setup
powerglide tce convertor
9in with truetrac

Was this setup in an XF once?

I remember seeing an XF with ezy10 plates.

the xf was my old car that had a 250 in it this setup is new and only in this car.

Mintest car in Aus I reckon. Tho I'm biased cos I like 4L's & Mustangs. :)

Whats next? No project car is ever finished. Tho its hard to see what else you could do with it.

here is the dyno video the car ran 148mph with this power but has since run 153mph haven't dynoed it yet but should be making over 600 now
on the moroso with it's wieght and mph it's showing 1050hp at the engine

I've followed this on fullboost. Has got a lot of history. It's a massive credit to you, such a flawless build, well done and welcome.

477rwkw 24psi. 9.80 @ 145mph

What are your thoughts on the reverse cowl bonnet setup? Is that just for drags or is it on perm now?

the reverse cowl is perminate .
Why would i go petrol i dont want to slow the car down :)
i'm considering going vapour inj later on

XG Panelvan
EF bottom end with ported EB head, valve springs, EL ECU & J3 chip, crane HI6 CDI & MSD coil, LC-1 wideband & SSI-4 logger

soon - .595" lift cam, GT4202, forged AU engine and built head, ems stinger 4424 ecu, powerglide with 5500 high stall etc - next, bellhousing

XH ute daily - DOHC BA XR6 engine, T5, AU3 ECU with TI J3 chip, ported BBM, 3" stainless intake - 12" sub, tub liner and hard lid - mass skids and epic tyre carrying capabilities :)

Would be interested if you can share what type of rear suspension you have now. I haven't really been following but I remember reading on fullboost that it had a 4 link but you were going back to leaf springs or something.

it used to run a 3link but could only manage a 9.7 with that so i went back to a leaf spring rear end which seems to be working alot better now i aslo tubbed the car while i was at it it runs 10.5slicks and 325 mt radials

So much win in this car. I love it man, massive props to you for the build. Good to hear the leaf springs are working good. Cause I wanna stick with the leaves in my wagon when that project gets started in a few years :)

who did you cam dude?
as in who came up with the grind if its custom, or what wade cam is it if its off the shelf?

seen this a few times now and its pretty nice. stands out and has some serious balls to match. something different from the usual v8 route.
