Looks good mate! Twin 3" fits the rear bar perfectly I reckon. I went for a twin 3" rolled tip on my EF, but after seeing straight cut and staggered on your Ghia, it looks much better

Fark, I love this car lol. Such a sexy looking Ghia!

Haha thanks for the kind words. I can't take credit for its looks, someone else did the hard work before me and other guys popularised the look long ago. I'm glad you like it. Get a ticky kit for yours and It would like awesome

Yeah i have had rolled tips before and they're a pain to polish. These are 3" but being straight cut arent obvious. I'm glad you guys like the staggered look. I was lucky the bloke just finished a BA xr8 ute with twin 3" straight cut tips, they were even but BA's have a flat bumper. From that we agreed staggered was the only way to do it

Farken so happy with how it turned out. Glad i have a decent zorst bloke!

Thanks Daniel, i like your tips but you also do have 4 of them :P

It's a bit less droney through the cabin, the exhaust didnt extend far enough before.
Love the sound, but definitely think pacies give them a better sound, without a doubt mate.
Maybe that'll happen one day :D

i'm not defending them, but we all make mistakes. I don't really deal with anyone but mario anyway, bar pink slips.

St George should be able to sort you out. richard likes them. can't be too bad

wombi, your guy is a spaz, you've gotta find a new one. bng has a single 2.25/2.5" (don't know what size) tip and it looks gay everytime i drive past it. needs big twins. not dumpers

a small update, the car is no longer dual fuel. The LPG solenoid is being a dipshit and won't stop LPG when I switch to petrol, so it's hit & miss whether it will run on good old pet-rol. Fuckin love cars!

Finally polished the car, six months after buying it. Looked unreal, its the first time i have seen heritage sparkle (yes im isolated and simple)

My missus bought me some alpine components and 6.5" to replace the original torn cone speakers. What a gem!

So pump was replaced and car serviced properly. Found theres a small, slow weep from the passenger head gasket. Bugger hey.

Seriously cbf though. It drives well and i've started back on my project mini, plans for turbocharging and other fancy shit. So the Ghia shall remain as the daily driver for a long time now

yeah the body isnt too bad. The driveway is definitely fucked.

from top (the crest in those pics) to the lowest out back the height drops a full 2 storey brick house. That crest is inline with the roof and the back part is below ground floor level. so shit

Bout time you polished it braad.
I did the same to mine day before my wedding then
it rained the next day. Pointless I think.

That driveway is definitely a killer, if that was mine
When I bout the ef I would of got stuck at the top of the drive.

Cars looking good though. Shame bout head gasket though!

Jeez, so it rained on your wedding day? That sucks!

Haha yeah it took me 7 months to polish. It looked great for a week, some PBF boys saw it polished and thought it was resprayed. That was nice to hear!

This has never been past that crest of the driveway. The XR8 just got down, but most of my cars have scraped. Shoo shitty

Well i hate to say it but i will be selling the Ghia soon!
I will get a proper ad up too.

Its a shame but im moving to bowral and commuting to sydney every day, so im looking at a new Fiesta as a buzzbox/commutor. That means the Ghia will have to go

1996 EL Fairmont Ghia V8, fully optioned from factory, 168,000km - immaculate leather interior, electric drivers seat, factory sunroof, EL GT copy rims, tickford bodykit (deleted rear wing for smooth look), Pedders Coilovers, EL GT headers, high flow cats and a custom twin 2.25" mandrel bent exhaust into twin Stainless steel 3" tips (took 2 days to build from scratch at Carline Mortdale), LPG system installed in 2011 (i will check to be sure), new fuel pump, brakes replaced and frozen calipers rebuilt (new pads &fluid). I had it serviced every 5000km, so i will add everything done to it soon.

Thanks guys
