Hahaha I could be classified as both, maybe they should make an autocross/target shooting sport to combine the two.

Just out of interest I shot with a 3030 handgun the other day, had a 20 grain load, (custom reload) and it still kicked like a race horse. Makes Dirty Harry's .357 look like a capgun! Hahaha

Some of those big calibers look like fun.

There is a guy at the club that shoots metallic silhouettes with a pistol running a necked up 308 case with a 38 cal projectile of some sort. Its fucken loud.

Long time no type.

I can''t get loan guns out of the Pistol club until Australia Day so I made some stuff this weekend instead.

Sliders which are still to be mounted.

Blurry much. : /

Knocked up a Rear light bar a month or so ago.

The bender worked good. Not a bad way to spend $114.

I want a notcher next. Cutting those middle support bits out was a **** and three quarters.

Notcher:

I'm gonna do a rear bar and quarter chop after the sliders are done and eventually mod the front bar to take a winch.

There are heaps of things I want to do but I don't really want to spend much money on it. There is a bunch of other stuff I want before spending up on the GQ.

Slow reaction time on that one. Thanks Bentley.

Bought a notcher and few weeks back and stuck it in the shed for a rainy day.

A mate bought a new bike so we've been out riding a fair bit lately. On Saturday I convinced myself it was time to get a new bike on Monday. As the day went on my bike started to seem a bit slower than normal. I took it apart on Sunday to check the rings and its done another cylinder. :banghead:

Turns out my bottom end needs a rebuild. I can't sell it as is and apart from an electric start a 2013 KTM 2 stroke can't do anything mine can't do so its getting a refresh and being kept for a bit longer.

Here is a picture story of my weekend:

The orange frame is a new one, I bought it a few years back as I broke the exhaust mounts off and it was in at KTM cheap because someone ordered it and never picked it up.

The rear subframe is 2 months old.

The motor will be rebuilt top to bottom, its getting new suspension, a new chain and sprockets, new bearings throughout, a new pipe and pipe guard and a bunch of other little shit that I may as well replace while Im at it. New plastics and stickers are on the list too.

Should be like a new one in a few weeks.

Not terribly exciting but I thought a bargain was worth a mention.

FORD - Found on rubbish dump lives true. These were in someone's hard rubbish on the way to Eildon for last weekends dirtbiking trip. I borrowed a honda and it broke its valves. Fucken gay.

Ill stick these in the GQ when I cbf.

Bayswater train station. Not an ideal spot.

Cheeky **** smashing the rear window in during the day that close to the road and across from the shops.

I was on the phone for an hour and a half trying to organise a tow.

Nah I don't think anyone saw anything. The cops said no-one reported it. There are cameras but not sure if they are in that spot.

The cops weren't real interested but they will fingerprint it tomorrow.

I dunno how long until I find out when and if it will be fixed. The lady on the phone said to prepare myself for it being written off because auto electricians charge through the nose and it is pretty old so parts might not be available.

Pretty inconvenient. Fucking losers, surely it doesn't get much easier than a carby GQ patrol to hotwire.

F'oath. I reckon the GQ might be one of the oldest cars there though. Easiest target maybe. Lucky I hadn't spent 11ty on accessories or they might have tried harder or I'd be under insured.

Confirmed there is no CCTV where my car was. Junkie scum will get away with it. :-(

Meanwhile I'm out of pocket $550 either way for the excess. ****!

I guess another way of looking at it is $50 EA Falc + $600/yr rego + $0 insurance = probably cheaper than Mav getting stolen

Knowing my luck I would stack the EA into a Bentley.

Ill start walking to the station again or stick a club lock on it.

Maybe an alarm system and movement activated CCTV mounted inside to catch the bastards. And sharks with laser beams.

Or maybe something rigged up to my 30.06 that goes bang when an unauthorized person sits on the drivers seat. That'd be cool.

If only they were real. :(

GQ getting fixed. $2500 quote to fix the damage apparently. :S

KTM back in action. Rides like a treat with the new suspension.

Image

What do you guys reckon I should do with the GQ to deter junkie faggots costing me a $550 excess every time they have a crack at stealing it? I'll still be parking it at the station when the weather is shit.

Should I get an alarm to make some noise when it gets touched or will a club lock be enough?

I don't have central locking (calm your lol's) so i guess I could put that in at the same time.
