so i've upgraded the high beams to crystal vision aswell. ive done all the lights now so better start actually modding this thing ;)

doesnt look like much but took ALOT of fuckin around to get these to fit and look good. i was unsure at first if i should fit them or not but it worked out well in the end i think.

i was chasing a non boosted one of these across the hills coming home today, sounded freaking awesome. i had to keep checking my speedo on the bike cos it sounded like we were doing lunatic speeds lol.

looked like it actually handled pretty decent for a big girl. dunno if my fg would have kept up with it.

haha yeah they get up and move for a big car. i remember reading a story on AFF and they were all sooking that FPV had a 290 kw and they (fpv) were copping flack that they were too powerfull and these make 317kw and nothing was said about the power levels lol.
im guessing you would keep up in the FG im sure the FG would handle better

still havnt got my air bag kit so im trying to get as much done that i can with out the kit. been buying tools like a mofo :good:
ive made a board in the boot outta MDF and ive used expander foam as a bit of a deadener ect and to mount the compressors and valves.

Image

and long story short i had to buy new shocks ( non self leveling) for the rear and all i could get was from QLD for $440 + postage for 2nd hand. But tried my local air ride shop and they had a set of custom koni's to suit my car. you cant even buy these from koni as they custom make them for Universal Air Suspensions in the states.they are fully adjustable and you will notice the front collar is tiny, that is as the bag sits over it and lets you mount the air line nice and close.

Image

Image

Image

not my pic, but shows them all set up.

Image

also these came in the box. anyone one what they are for? or are they only for shipping ect?

They arent some sort of imcomplete cap for dampening adjustment? I only see one white cap (3rd and 2nd last pics). I love where this is going... ;) always loved the 300's and I'd probably have one if they were in my price bracket. Cant wait to see it dumped.

Anythings possible. A good read on fitting bags to a car that hasnt many bolt on options.http://www.stanceworks.com/2012/07/how- ... fter-pack/

Correct me if Im wrong but once made, as easy as coilovers to fit + running the lines. Anyone that half knows what theyre doing should be able to make this work on a falcon. Lack of kits doesnt mean it cant be done.

yeah when i first bought the kit i read up heaps as this is something new for me but now im confident. fitting the struts and bags is same as coil overs but its all the fiddly shit like fitting hand controller, fitting valves and lines and making sure nothing leaks and of course its all gotta look sick. i dont want to just slap it all together and it be rough. i want this to be neat and easy to work on/ maintain if needed.

Airlift Universals are 700ish a pair from the states, not bad at all, and you can run different sleeves/bellows to suit fitment

Definitely, i've seen a similar setup done in a DC for that exact reason.

is that for the bag and strut? also there is the other items you dont realize about but it all adds up. things like tank, compressors, valves hand controller etc etc

nah, i wanted to john but it was an extra $1000 and it took long enough for my money to clear via pay pal and i was in a bit of a rush to buy before the $$ dropped.
kinda wish i had done it now. but this air ride shop near my house sells all that shit so when i want it ill look into it.

Thats just the 'universal' kit so looking at $1400ish for front and back bags 'and' struts. Basically the top halves of all 4 corners. Can you shed some light with a rough figure on how much it would take to complete a kit?

Might have to cancel on the XYZ's ..

about $1k extra.

2 x these would cover a majority of the left over bits - but there would possibly be some parts you'd want to upgrade depending on your wants/needs.

yeah thats a bit on the small side, not a bad start up kit.although if you went in there or called he would give you the right setup for your car. my setup is rather basic , it has 2x 480 compressors 1/2" lines and fittings and a 4 gallon tank and alot of boys upgrade to twin tanks and anywhere from 3 - 6 480 compressors
