Hey all, as i said in my other thread i would make another thread about my 300c as my other had about 4 cars in it.

anyway to those who dont know i sold my yellow F6 to my mate as i found this car.
ive wanted a 300c since about 2006. ive always loved them as i tend to like the odd-ball cars.i believe they are the sort of car that you either love or hate them.
i think they have a real gansta look and a great road presence.

the car specs are-

2006 Chrysler 300c SRT-8
silver metallic
HEMI 6.1 lt 370 cubic in
5 speed auto with tip-tronic
2 tone interior (black & beige)
black leather seats
black windows
4pot brembos all round
20" wheels & falken tyres
boot lip spoiler
SRT wheel arch flares
sunroof

mods are:
procharger with cooler etc etc
magnaflow twin 2.5 exhaust
headunit with ipod dvd mp3 usb sd etc
custom chrome grille- grip brand
towbar :|
factory shiz:

heated seats
full electric seats
memory seats
seat moves in/out when key is in/out ignition
folding in mirrors
memory mirrors
tyre pressure readout on screen
compass on screen
decent stereo with factory kicker sub
xenon headlights
self adjusting/ self levelling headlights
self levelling suspension
reverse sensors
carbon fiber style interior plastics
rain sensing windcreen wipers
battery already in boot :yahoo:

theres more but cant remember em all. its got pretty much everything that opens and closes hah.

future plans:
retune
surge tank
airbags
engine dress ups
strut brace
remove side moulds

the blower is a Procharger setup for the hemi's.
the pulley is a 3.7 and its meant to make about 6-6.5 psi
ill be removing the pulley to fit a 3.4 unit which im told should make 8-9 psi.
im told the car make a figure of 550 rwhp scaled back to 517 rwhp but i highly highly doubt it make that at all. im trying to get it on the dyno to find out what its really making.

the charger has had the helical gears in it so its a really quiet blower. you can hear it but its not loud. id love to have it loud but being quiet also has its advantages

This thing has a different grill on it right? I saw a Voyager the other day, and it reminded me of your car. :P

P.S. Trust me, you don't want a loud centri, my first Raptor got old really quickly. Twin screw is where it's at!

That's fine, I also took a shit this morning, and it was more solid than your interior trim work!

Yep, this one is heaps quiet compared to the old one. You can hear it with the bonnet up, but the exhaust drowns it out on the street. With the passenger window down, I can actually here the spool over the whine!

Nice work Dylan, I'm a massive fan of luxo-barges! What/if any plans do you have for this?

LOW_XR wrote:hmm really unsure dan.sometimes i drive this and this think "**** this is slow hahah" i think due to lack of spool ect

Centri chargers can be pretty deceiving due to the lack of low/mid rush - quite often quicker than they feel.

LOW_XR wrote:come on man, you own a AU.you really shouldnt be bagging people about their interiors

Drove an AU the other day for the first time in ages - I'd forgotten how hideously shit they are in every aspect ;)

haha cheers justin, um going to go air bag suspension, smaller pulley, maybe some high flow cats, a tune, remove side mouldings and maybe just do some weddings etc on the side.
i know what you mean, i boot it and then look down and realize the speed im doing lol :o
and yeah im not a AU fan at all. i dont regret selling my AU one bit hahah.

finally did a service on this a few weeks ago. serviced the blower at the same time.
the car has a lower engine tray on it, remove that and the under side of the motor is so clean. nice to service and not have dirt and/or grease in your way.
blower was fairly easy to service aswell.

hahah thats it!

ok so when i did the service i also stripped off the front bar to paint the cooler. never liked the shape of the cooler in it.
now its black i think its heaps better. i think its cool seeing a cooler in a 300c but as the blower is quiet and cooler is black it just looks like a stocker.

Looks better like that.

Can you fit a regular shaped cooler in there? That one looks pretty small. Do the pipes go straight back towards the cabin?

Are you going to keep it long enough to get Vic rego? Will the charger be a problem?

nah cant really fit a normal cooler w/out a shit ton of mods. the inlet/out lets do go strait back towards the cabin.

yeah i wana do a few weddings etc and im hopefully ordering my airbag kit by the end of the month. so i wana keep it for a while
im in the middle of a roady atm so see how we go!

i replaced the fog light globes too as they are soo yelow compared to the factory HID's.

they are only crystal vision globes and much more noticeable at night. i might get projector fog lights and install HID's in them to match my headlights

Nice ride man, good on you for doing something a bit different.

You have to take it down the strip some time, I'd love to know what she can do.

lol i doubt it makes 517 as ive said before.
ive been chatting with a guy on a 300c forum and hes got a 5.7 hemi with same blower as mine, but a smaller pulley running 11psi and his is making 520 rwhp
just wana get this on the dyno to work out where im at :?
