first mods will be getting rid of those rims and putting my dark agents on it.
then removing the clear taillights and all the gauges.
then if money is there might do some mods but might leave it as is for now.
cheers

Nice, get those wheels and tail lights sorted asap! How does the quad exhaust work? Does it run along behind the rear bumper?

Looks nice and clean. Some more pics of interior are needed

Ah. Keepin those plates?

Yours is nicer than mine, custom touches in the interior, better zorst, airbrushing on the BBQ plate, and manual + you'll have dark arents too

Just smack an AU top end on it and it'll be complete

Not keeping plates giving back to guy I bought it off.
Yeh that's what I'm thinking of doing money permitting.
Yours is pretty good to mate mines just had a lot of money spent by someone else.

Not sure the Dark Argents will look good on it, btu it's up to personal choice, and I think they have been done to death. Something with dish is what I like, but that's me.

Car looks pretty mint, and very straight. Not sure what the go with all the gauges is, particularly if it's fairly stock. Looks like a pretty good score though mate, nice pick up. Will be good to see how the car comes along from here

Cheers mate.
Yeh will put dark argents on and see if not might swap for gt-ps or bf gt rims.
But yeh gauges are definitely going as I hate them. They have everything the cluster has on it so seems stupid to me.
But can't complain getting all the original parts and extras from it too.

Ahh, did you own it when it was at Calder? Shoulda come parked with us :P

Id leave it as is wheel wise, something thats not overdone on a Falcon. Id just put Ford badges back on it, change the airbag cover to one that matches, and change the tail lights to EF ones :)

yes justin they do work.
all four pipes breath. took the guy ages to get it mounted right as the fuel tank is a hard bit to make it fit around.
but yes they are functional.

thats mint, id keep the guages, adds to it i reckon. i wouldnt have fitted them but now theyre there seems pointless removing them.

agree about the rims and tallights, but i reckon the rest of the car deserves better than fpv copies. some thing with good dish would set it right off.

someone definitely threw some cash at it.

not a fan of gauges that have the same info as the instrument cluster seems pointless to me but thats me.
as for the rims ill see how it looks if it looks crap then ill look for something else but i think theyll be ok.
and yeh definitely alot of cash has been spent. thats why i bought it as i dont need to do alot to the outside or inside. maybe just engine mods which im
happy to be doing.

Re: My new Ef fairmont 5.0L manual now on dark argents

Postby dannysebxr6 » July 29th, 2012, 11:05 am : braad Likes this post

Heres some pics with dark argents on now.
cars a bit too low as the tyres are rubbing the inner arch trim on turns. so will have to lift it a little.
enjoy.
Image

also swapped taillights last night and removed all the gauges. just need new upper dash trim and a pillar trim. as he turned them in swisse cheese.
but hell it sounds awesome the exhaust is great. just need to mod engine and put ghia chrome back on bootlid.

I also got the high rise tickford spoiler with it do you guys reckon i should fit it? or not?
as its already painted in the car colour.

Cheers
