It can be done, there is a FG GT in NSW that has FR20's with something like a 10 inch wide rear with heaps of dish and even some dish up front

Speedy infernos 19x9.5 fit over brembo and also the 8.5 stagger

Needs better wheels, heaps of better looking options out there. If someone told you they looked good, they need to be taken out the back paddock with the shotgun. It is sad to say even Argents looked better on it.

Why change from the Force lip? Or was it bought with the GT wing on it?

I like the wheels, I'm fussy on what I like, which is basically a simple design with spokes that go to the edge of the rim, machined or shadow chrome finish (and actually fit)

Gt spoiler may not suit everyone but hey I wanted to try it. It's why I got an f6 boot lid, and spent 800 getting the right bolts and gaskets and a new brake light and painting it at a paint shop. I can put the original boot lid on at any stage.

You guys might not like the wheels, fact is I don't really car what you think lol.

I have the original wheels still getting repaired and painted. I buckled two once hitting a pothole one I don't know when it got damaged and the other had a slight flat spot since I got it.

I have a six speed manual to put on with a triple plate carbon clutch which I bought off Sundeep to go in. 6 auto is still holding up, shifts when cold are ok. But you can tell its not in fantastic shape.

Next I want to put some coil overs and a sway bar in.

It's a cruiser that will return mid 8.5l/100km, it can hold mates, it can take a boot load of luggage, I've used it as a tow car, It will do a solid 11s 1/4 at a guess the way it stands.

But hey I've turned a rare fpv into a nugget and the original Karl lives on

if you ring ford and ask for a left hand engine mount you wont get that delivered will you?
also cos its the inlet side it is about a 10 minute job if that, and you can use a rattle gun on most of the bolts i think all except 1 i changed one on thursday

I didn't say it was the engine mount, I said it was a bracket for the engine mount. You could call it an engine mount if you really wanted to, or an engine mount bracket or mount mount.

Love to see you get all the bolts with a rattle gun.

Icer, pretty keen to do that. Doing a 1.5 60ft on Chinese 275's andan unprepared track was pretty promising.

Currently having trouble with the drive belt slipping rubber dust and dimming headlights under hard acceleration. We can't replicate it on thedyno as it has to be run in 4th to stop slipping on the rollers. Going to try a new tensioner and then a slightly shorter belt. Just not that keen on the voltage drop an potential fuel drop from the 044
