that is awesome increase in power for a tune. How is it on fuel for normal driving before and after tune (wondering compared to my 5l)?

Congrats on the little bloke, I bet you're excited for when he comes along

I'm also interested in fuel figures (a bit). You don't really get one of these cars for fuel economy ha!
What did he change to make 70 odd more rwkw if no ignition table changes? Just clean up the fueling and a 200 more rpm?

Not too sure on the economy just yet, nearly done a tank of fuel now but I have been 'testing' out the 500hp haha. In theory it will be a little better on fuel if I can drive it normally. But this tank looks like its only going to get me about 350km lol, but normally its around 14l/100 around town and 10/100km on the highway.

Yeah clean up the fueling, a touch more boost and revs, also I've heard they don't get full throttle with a stock tune which would account for it... forgot to ask about that!

Haha, I know the feeling. My first tank of fuel got me 200km lol ;)
Sorry for the question overload, but how much does this sort of thing set you back?

How do they increase boost with a tune? Wouldn't that need a pulley swap on a supercharged engine?

Pretty sure stock they bleed the boost off at high rpm. Change this - More boost. They already pull like a bloody freight train up top, can only imagine what full boost would do!

Tricky stuff, wonder how much they develop if they didn't bleed any boost off

Haha its bad that I can't remember doing anything because I'm always driving like an idiot :glare:

apoc, its been great since the tune, fitted Rspec 19x9 rear wheels with 265/35/19 Michelin super sports (odd size?) and it has a bit more grip but still not the best, once they're worn out I'll try fit a 285/30.

Also had the front wheels painted to match the Rspec ones, very subtle difference but instead of the grey they are more of a metallic black.

I want to lower it next and of course more power!
