Rob's BF GHIA MKII

Postby raawbb351 » August 17th, 2012, 7:09 pm

Hey there guys, just thought I'd chuck up a few pics of my new ride.
Its a 2008 BF Fairmont Ghia MkII in Steel Blue with a ZF 6spd Auto

Future plans include 19's and lowering, an exhaust system and possibly a few other cosmetic changes like a lip spoiler but let me know what you think.

Very nice! Should look mint with the planned mod's :good:

When it comes to the later model Ford's, I swear BF Ghia's have one of the most sexual front end's ever :D

Cheers guys, yeah I could just sit there and stare at that front end all day!

Just need to decide on which wheels I want to put on now!
I was thinking along the lines of either G6E Turbo's or the FG XR6T/XR8 Luxury Pack 19's

That's the perfect interior! The cream looks much nicer than the black

These look so good inside & out, well done.

Planning on selling the Ghia Rims?

Cheers mate, yeah not too many people go for the cream, probably because its hard to keep clean!

Thanks mate,
Not too sure on whether I want to sell them, but the previous owner gutter rashed the absolute sh** out of them :banghead:
At this stage I need to save up a bit more cash to lower it, get some shocks and the new wheels, could be a few months.

Any recommendations on shocks?
I'm thinking of going either Ultra Lows Rear and Super Lows Front or SSL All Round for the springs

Update -

A week after CFC I've finally lowered the car, but only in the rear until next week when I'll do the fronts.

Went with Ultras in the rear and Supers in the front, and bought some Boge Shocks for it as well.

I'm happy with the stance but still reckon the rear could go lower. Might have to bag it ;)
Let me know what you think!
