Looks mint dude, classy and very tidy! Those wheels suit it so well, would have those any day over BA GT wheels. Do you know what brand and offset they are by any chance?

Thanks guys Image

I found the wheels on ebay, they are Work VS Edition, Jap wheels & are 18x8 and 18x9. The offset is close to E series, I think +8mm rings a bell where E sreies is +6 & 114.3 pcd. they are a pretty old style now & the Work VSXX have replaced them. The new style looks awesome, but sell for around 3k

It gets kept under cover so paint stays good despite no wash, it has had the bonnet, front guards & bumper re-sprayed (stone chips), new headlights and I restored the window surrounds etc. with matt black & then clear coat. its' the little things that give it a new look. I'm working on the interior, it's a bomb site at the moment & throw up some pics in a couple of weeks. Cheers~

Re: EF Fairmont- white wheels, what do you think!

Postby .tapeworm » October 2nd, 2012, 4:41 pm

I did the wheel centres on the left side of the car in gloss white on the weekend, i've always likes white mags. I'm not sure if i like the look or not, they look way different to the silver. I can always do the centres in silver again so It's not a problem or I can do the other side in white too. What do you guys reckon, does it look good/bad? check out the pics!

ha, decisions, deee...cisions..I'll pop the centre caps in & put a better pic up...i'm undecided. I'm like a female wondering what dress to wear out tonight! When it's parked on the street it looks massively hot at some angles, but then side on it's slightly weird, white makes the spokes look thinner.

Just looks so sweet in the pics at the top of the page, reason I suggested spacers is the wheels sit a fair way under the guards. You gotta do what pleases you, we're only seeing the pictures. :drinks2:

yeah, the wheels are'nt exactly e-series offset.I don't know much about offsets etc, but I think E-series are 114.3 stud pattern and +6 offset where these are +8, close but slightly different. They are Japanese so probably suit Nissan etc. I'm gonna go back to silver, the white looks good, but doesn't suit the car as well I've decided.

I like it with the white, I think.
Slip on spacer rings of ~1-2cm would be good for sure, providing you've still got heaps of stud available.

Definitely the right decision, don't you Kill cars?

I agree with the opinion that the wheels look good in white as well as silver, but they don't suit the car. Maybe if they were on a 180/200zx
