Hey I'm Dean from brissy and this is my EF Fairmont, had this car for about 4 years now, bought it completely stock auto with about 280000km its now up to 372000, it's my daily and I've just been slowly modifying it to how I want it. I like taking it to the drag strip best time so far is a 14.3@99mph but would really like to run a 13 sec pass.

Mods I have done so far are:
King Springs Lows with new shocks
Clear side indicators
EL Fairmont grill with mesh inserts
16 inch XR6 wheels
Decent stereo with 12 inch sub and amp
Ghia Leather seats and chrome handles
Manual Conversion with short shifter
3.45:1 LSD
JMM DEV5 head with wade 977B cam and adjustable cam gear
Permaseal MLS-R Head gasket
Powerdyne Supercharger kit running 9psi
SAAS BOV and boost gauge
J3 chip
Oil catch can
Extractors which I heat wrapped and a full 2.5" exhaust

Future plans for it would probably be different wheels, some sort of intake cooling and a different cam and wouldn't mind running it on a dyno at some stage.

Thanks mate. Yeah there isn't much left on the car that hasn't been replaced so there should be a fair bit of life left in her.

Looks pretty neat!

Fix up that blower intake, that dodgy elbow from the CAPA kit is crap and I have seen them end up in the blower!

A nice tight radius 3.5" elbow plus some 3.5" tubing and a 3.5" pod in the guard getting nice cool air will go a long way.

Thanks for the advice, I definantly don't want that happening, I will be upgrading the piping on the pressure side aswell because that blows off from time to time.

didn't realise you were putting my cam in this!
you will notice a real nice mid to top end gain with the 1521a over the 977b, its noticeably bigger.

Bit of an update.. engine developed lots of blow-by and pissed out oil from everywhere. So the engine is now on a stand I've put new rings and big end bearings in it, ordered main bearings for it but the parts place gave me the wrong ones even though I told them I had the EL hybrid bottom end, gave them the engine number etc.. so I didn't bother changing them because they are still good anyway .Also put in new timing chain and guides and all new seals and gaskets, Will hopefully tidy the engine bay up a bit while the engine is out. You can see the new 18 inch koya wheels in the background

Those are the same wheels as mine! Except mine are gutter rashed and have these weird marks all over them looks like scratches but as if something was eating into it.
