Just hunt around on eBay for 3m chrome strips/tape the right width and replace it.. black would look out of place and tacky I reckon.

Was going to suggest buying some of that SAAS pinstripe tape, you beat me to it lol. I used the same stuff for my Fairmont when I had the chrome trims on it, that tape works mint and holds up nicely.

Yeah they only had 12mm pin stripe. The thickness of the genuine ones are like 20mm and wrap around.

The bumpers are good so only did the doors. Just gotta reinstall it. I'll use some silicone inteckon

Ah yeah bumpers are much harder to renew.. the rear needs a thin tape, (not a moulding like these are) and the front needs a thick mould.

Lil update. Bought a t5 off josh_ef that wasn't selecting first gear.
So I got it back to work and pulled it down. Sure enough the synchro slide thing was only moving one way. So a spray of brake cleaner and a bit of tapping with a dead blow hammer i had it in first. Then out and back in etc etc. still going to pull the main shaft down and clean all bearings and synchros. Just need to buy a new clutch and cable and im in business.

Does any one have any info on what I need to do to the transmission computer to get it to work without the auto?

has the saas tape lasted? I find it didnt last to long.
But found wheel arch mouldings at super cheap auto and auto barn are like the same stuff as factory.

The saas was too narrow at 12mm. I need something that's wider like 16-20mm.
What's that stuff like? How wide and thick?

You can get different sizes im pretty sure. And its as think as the factory chrome bar moulds from memory.

from what I remember the front chrome strips are pretty much triangular, door stripes are easy to fix don't even have to remove the moulds.

Might be my neighbour. Because where I park it, apparently it "obstructs" her drive way on the other side of the street and its hard for her to drive her BMW 318i out the drive way.

Honestly I could drive a bus out her drive way and still have room to move around.
