thanks ;)

so i've been driving the car heaps (clocked up over 7,500 klm's) in the last 2 odd month's and haven't got around to getting the LSD put in
but i couldn't help myself when i spotted that calder was open again for street drags and took it out to see where i'm at with it !

Image

i got 5 run's in before the rain came down and got a best of 12.40@116mph.

Image

there's still a bit more in it, i just need the traction & knowledge of how to launch it being my first turbo car.

UPDATE....the plan was to sell the VERTINI's and my 3V-V8 stuff from the LTD to fast track the upgrade's...(turbo, exhaust) before XMAS,
but everyone want's everything for nothing these day's  so the wheel's are staying (for now) and are re-planning shit :write:
but some small upgrade's have be done.....
with it making a bit more poke than std and needing it stop better, i went with some RDA slotted/dimpled rotor's & TRW pad's.
while stopping is heaps better and little brake fade being a higher heat range pad, they are of the dusty kind :glare:

Image

i'm about to do a service on it & will install a "EARLS" turbo oil line/filter kit as well.

Image

to replace the factory intake plastic's, i installed a "HERROD" alloy cooler pipe kit.

Image

and a PLAZMAMAN t-body pipe replacement & PLAZMAMAN intake muffler delete.

my plan's are set !!!! and 2014 is going to be a "quick" year :drinks2:

Looking good mate! It seems to go and sound pretty good now ;)
A bit quicker than my GT now... can't wait to see it next year!

I've used ebc red stuff pads before and they were awesome with bugger all brake dust too.

cheers  that run was at an odd speed.... it normaly go's a lot harder...as i'm sure the GT does too :good:
a tune alone will make a huge gains on yours & then the show will be on the other foot
it punches well above it's weight on the HWY & people are shocked when they find out it only has 290 :D

the bloke i got the brakes off said he uses red stuff as well, there a fair bit more pricey than the TRW's... will look at my options next time.
normal week day driving is about the same dust as std ford pad's.....mainly notice a lot of dust after a HWY session.
