Wombat's ba xr6

Hey guys here's my new daily again wanted something nicer then the au ute I had so I swapped my old man plus some cash for this,
ImageImage

It's a 03 ba xr6, 4spd auto, mercury silver, premium sound and sunroof. Everything was stock bar some slotted rotors.

The old man put his fg wheels on it then I got it.
Image

First thing I done was bf tail lights, then came the Ghia boot with out spoiler. Then I've just been tidying it up to get it to my standards. Removed towbar, fitted a new fog lamp, de badged the side skirts, gave it a quick detail. And installed a iPhone cord. Soon after it done a coil so I grabbed some genuine second handies from my old mans work, didn't want to buy new incase it wasn't the coils,

ImageImageImageImage

I've ordered a bootlip spoiler for it grabbing a leather Xr interior this week sometime hopefully, a mate has an xr8 bonnet I'm trying to convince him to sell to me, then ill be grabbing a set of xyz coilovers for it, the old man wants these wheels back but I bought another set off him in worse condition ill be getting painted black till I find something better, wont be touching go fast bits plan is most of the stuff i buy can be transferred to an f6 when/if I get one,

Well went for a drive last night picked up a leather interior and another premium sound icc mine didn't play CDs. So I put the seats and front door trims in tonight and cleaned it up, waiting for more parts for the rear power window conversion.
And my boot spoiler arrived today will be getting the rear resprayed in a few weeks.
Stumbled across a full exhaust on eBay for 400 so grabbed that too.
So I've only got to get an xr8 bonnet and coilovers and it should be done. ImageImage

Yes, and go back to Silver on the wheels ...and raise the height front and rear by 5-10 mm for non-commo spec. It will look sweet then.

Another vote for silver wheels and raised to a non-muzza spec height. This look was great:

I don't see how it's muzza spec I like it this height there's only like 5-10mm difference front to back, and nah I prefer black on the wheels suits it better I reckon.
blacked out abit on the rear bar aswell Image

Man I like this - I never liked those wheels as a factory rim, but they look good on your car lowered/painted.

Now all it needs is a pump. Mercury was one of the best BA colours I reckon

Lol muzza spec to me is front standard rear slammed not too low all around, but anyway opinions vary I'm not to fussed that's the benefit of coilovers

Agree muzza spec is when a car looks like it has no springs in the rear. This just looks really low..

I love the wheel/colour combination, but the rear needs to be that 5mm higher! Bags will sort that out though I spose.

Sucks about the defect!

Eh i knew it would happen just a matter of time,
Yeah I still don't get how it's muzza but that's only his opinion I guess, yeah the wheels and colour combo work well I reckon! It will do till I get my new wheels!.

Just put a deposit on a turbo conversion pretty much everything I need I think except cat&zorst no doubt there will be more things I need I'll wait till it turns up, it's of an f6 so fpv cooler, turbo and manifold, all plumbing, aftermarket dump and oil lines,
