Been a while but I'm back,
Recently bought a new slowdeo so she'll be coming off the road soon.

Car has had some love. Installed a Wade 977B-110lsa.
Soon to go and see Pauly at CVE for a tune, vernier gear and a bored out t/b.

Dual LPG converter set up not far off now. Have to figure out a few bugs with the LPG Injection first.

Looking at a set of these! I reckon they are killer. In a set of 18" would really set it off.
MC Racing. (Simmons copies)

Anyway here's some photos.

Looking into some new plates, (QIKBBQ) or something LPG related.

If anyone is interested in plsb-18 let me know. Reasonable offers won't be declined.

I'm stuck between two colours on the respray. One being the heritage green. Other being the bf mkII grey. With the flake through it. Engine bay and door jams being the down side.

Haven't seen another e-series in that Grey yet.

And IAC delete done!

Was hating life with the new 977, I advise everyone to do this as it drives so much nicer! :good:
Rpm doesn't lag returning to idle. Doesn't take seconds to return to idle at the lights. Excellent.

Did my input shaft bearing today. Hopefully that fixed the horrible noise coming from the box. (Only does it occasionally)

New gearbox oil.
1 part 75-85
1 part dex III.
Always worked well in my t5's.

So happy! Box makes no noise anymore.

Still have to find a clunk in the front end. Running out of ideas. Been over every nut and bolt in the front end, changed sway bar "D"' bushes, ball joints top and bottom aren't that old.

Does it when taking off. (Load coming off the front)

Only thing left to do it drop the k-frame a little and see if there's shit between it and the chassis. But the front bolts are too short in ef. Not long like the el ones. Makes it hard.

Seem to be okay, can't get much movement with a prybar.

Don't want to start replacing parts "just incase" anyway. gets pretty pricey fast.

I would definitely check the engine mounts I had a clunk that I chased around replacing all the front bushes and it ended up being the drivers side engine mount for some reason.

Checked it just then. Passenger side you could probably say it's worn. Bit movement than the other side. $88 trade for a new one haha.

Just took the hoist arms out and shattered the drivers side skirt.

Tried f'n everything. Eventually came down to. The inner edges of your rear tyres from camber wear are unroadworthy.

In which I replied "Mate, it's solid axle. It doesn't have any f'n camber"

Do they get their ticket in a cereal box or some shit?

Do you find the car surges while decelerating?

naah mate not at all, only thing that made a difference where the IAC Helps,
is full lock on power steering and aircon, where the IAC is supposed to raise the idle a little.
but i rarely use aircon when at the lights and full lock you just give it a squirt :)

didnt affect me, but if you dont warm your car up in the morning before you drive it its a bit touchy.. doesnt stall though.

A tune would make it work properly.

Have you tried resetting your base idle? Helped with my old ea and rev hang.
