Our new family daily, EL Ghia
Posted: November 25th, 2013, 6:50 pmWell Ive gone and done it. Sold the XF Fairmont and purchased this 1997 EL Ghia. Navy Blue with grey leather interior. It is the partners new daily runner/our family car. Done 240000kms. Needs a bit of work here and there but at the moment, perfect for daily use.
Needs new muffler, good excuse to fit a complete new exhaust aye...lol.
Oil leak from the motor, not sure where yet, but plenty of time to find it.
And a good service, oil, filter, fuel filter, air filter etc.
A good cut and polish ( repaint later )
Find 2 front leather seats better than these ones, a bit worn and torn up. Back seat is mint!
Mods I would like is, ( wether she will let me attack it lol )
New full exhaust
Tint
Lowered
Wheels

Anyway, heres a couple of pics of what we have to start with.
Yes I have just finished washing it in the pics, the paint isn't that bad...lol
And here's one of the XF I just sold. Kept the mags off the XF though which are now on my ute.
