Lol 3k gets you a barely run in 850000 km old taxi up here. Well, you would probably get two of them for that price but I digress.
Clean tidy low km ba's still aren't all that cheap.

hahaha just the way you said it man, figured it was cheaper than average.
i reckon 5200 now.
you can pick up a normal BA with reg in vic for 1k no worries, i understand thats not the same as a low km xr but the prices are getting lower frequently.
BA+ XR6 are wayy more common than the earlier models so i don't think they're worth as much as the previous models were.

Misk find me a ba with less than 300, 000 on it for $1000.
Why the f##k would you do a dohc conversion if you can get a ba so cheap?
Nice ba mate.

lol relax man, i never said they were good! i just said prices are starting to come down quite a bit.
i like having a ute now, plus manual, so its a cheap way of having a manual dohc ute.

how can i be off on what i have seen advertised?
if you're gonna be like that **** on facebook who tried to make me look like a dickhead cause i don't pay wrecker prices for my car parts then fuckin jog on.
whenever i've looked at buying a BA there was several choices around the 1k mark with reg and i was able to get anyone that was over 1k (say 1300) down to 1k.
i never said it was a showroom example, only that prices are coming down.
i would still laugh at someone for paying over $7k for a ba xr6. BF, not so, but ba, yes.

Cheers Patto. Will be staying pretty standard. Maybe lowered and wheels.
Sunny, just little marks that are on it.

I thought the XR's had red rocker covers? Still a very clean example of a nice car though. Nice kms for a BA too, I would be happy with one in Blueprint too

Cheapest BAs that I've seen around the traps in respectable order are 250+ km, generally out of rego and around the $2700 mark.
I'll buy 2 with reg at $1k. Link me. Even RWOs smashed to shit get over $1k. Thats taxi price.

If you got it under 7k that's a bloody good deal!
I bought my BA wagon for 3k with 260k on the clock two years and I couldn't find nothing even close to that price.
Looks bloody neat mate, should be a good family car!

$5700?
Definitely looks tidy enough, some silver/machined rims will look mint on it.
Mates brother just offloaded his BA XT 5spd with XR kit for $4k. Had over 350k kms but was super tidy bar marks on the boot. Fella drove up from Sydney to pick it up too - 1300 km round trip.

Links bud. I'll believe it when I see it.
Maybe start a new thread when you find one.
And good car btw man, I had a blueprint XR6T once. You're not a true Ford fan till you've had a Blueprint BA lol.

Cheers guys. It was $6500. Some may say that's a lot for a ba, but it is exactly what I wanted, has low k's and didn't have to fly across the country to get it. so for me , it was a good deal.

What, an fg xr6 turbo isn't enough Jay?
Put an o2 sensor in this the other day , expecting big things haha.
Going well though, showing 11.7 mixed driving. Thomas and Donna love it, so I'm happy azzzz.
