Why a box? Try a pod in the guard with a 3 inch intake? People have used ba boxes though

When mine was NA I cut a big hole in the bottom of the airbox and fed ducting up to it from the front bumper. Worked good enough for me to run a 14.1 quarter mile

Or an EL GT snorkel if you can find one.

Early Ba xr8/gt stock air boxes are cheap
has a 3.5" pod almost mounts in the factory spot with the Ba bracket.

i have a pod in the box with 3in piping and twin snorkles, its still pulling vac past 6000 revs so its restricting. pods arent the way to go in my experience. pod in the guard is a terrible idea as it is a low pressure area at high speed. work fine on the dyno but shit on the track

plug leads, play with the cam timing, fit the new injectors and dyno again
