Ok, so thought i'd throw up some pictures Of my Baby.

It is a January 1995 EF1 Fairmont Ghia V8

When i Picked it up it had 260000k's, but was in amazing condition. It also had been fitted with Lows and a cat back exhaust

It was advertised on the AFF For Sale Section.

(pic from for sale thread)

After an NRMA inspection gave it a 8/10 for body and a 9/10 for mechanical, i took the plunge and put a deposit down on it - Site Unseen!

3 days later i was on a plane to canberra.

Drove back fantastically and did it in a tank and a 1/4 - Not bad.

First thing was to convert to LPG, yes im cheap.

Being an EF1 it's interior Was no where near as nice as an EL, so i replaced a couple of plastic EF1 parts for classty EL bits

Chrome handles

Woodgrain Surround

After that i just got a set of 19'' BF GT-P Copys

It does need to be lowered more but im struggling with the 245's on the rear

Other than that just has a Full Pioneer Stereo and Peeling Factory tint

Oh, and it SHOULD of had some engine work by now, but....

Of course it threw a transmission so that cleaned the savings right out

Wheels look great with that colour.
Have any engine mods in mind for the future?

It will start small.

Im looking around for an explorer manifold and new heads.

Will also go a new cam and a few other tasty goodies

Also pricing a dedicated gas set up and Supercharger, but if i go that route i will buy another motor and build it bit by bit

Very nice car mate, I hadn't seen it on AFF before.

What kind of cat-back is it? (size, mufflers, etc) I strongly recommend PH4000 extractors, gives the car a much better note ;) And if you go straight gas, get twin exhausts!

Looks great mate. Wheels really suit it. Get an EL Fairmont grill and some fairlane clear side repeaters and it will be sweet.

BEN189, Nah i don't like the EL Grille on EF's, mainly coz the ELs have chrom striping around the car that ties the chrome in with the grille

galapogos01, No and No 8-)
