Well, I actually live in Oakleigh! But the family lives at Maffra. I would go lower but my driveway drops on too much of an angle. I've left some awesome scrape marks in it!

Thanks for the comments.
Yeah, I see you're at Maffra as well, speed.freak. The family have a farm between Maffra and Tinamba. I try to get back there about once a month. I agree about the bonnet. I really want a good condition platinum silver EB bonnet for it, so I can debadge the front, but they've been hard very hard to find at the wreckers. I've seen a few, but haven't been happy with any of them. My EA bonnet isn't in great condition anyway. I've got another EA bonnet in the garage. I might even try to fill the Ford badge recess and put that on.

Shit, a fair bit has changed, I saw this parked on Alchester Ave a few months ago.
Maybe chuck up a thread in the showroom or build section?

That is a coincidence! You might see my car down there some weekend. I know I'll be down there for the weekend of 10th of May. I'm not sure if I'll be down before then.
BTW. A few details I haven't mentioned:
It's riding on King Springs lows with Monroe shocks
The exhaust system comprises of Pacemaker extractors, a high flow cat, and 2.5" redback exhaust with the rear resonator replaced by straight pipe.
It's also had a T5 conversion.
It's got an XH snorkel and a K&N panel filter. I'm planning on a custom air intake utilising the left hand brake duct in the Scorcher bar. I'll obviously go with a pod filter in that case, and a modified airbox. I'm in no hurry to do anything at the moment though (which explains why my front bumper was black for about 5 months

)
lol at Gilly. I do go down to Alchester quite a bit. Generally when I'm there, I'm either near the shops or at LOW_XR's place.

Wow certainly has come a long way since I saw it last. Spewing you can lower it more but lowered cars are/can be a pain. I agree with Pete, get bags!!

Bags on this thing would be mad, maybe one day... I 'm just not too keen on spending a lot on money on it at the moment.

Looks good, engine bay needs a bit of a touch up though I rekon, It would look awsome with the rocket cover re painted, and all those wires "missing" and maybe some thermos

Yeah, the engine bay's a bit of a sorry sight. I'm hoping to get thermos for it in the next few weeks. As for the rocker cover, in all honesty, I don't think this engine has a lot of life left in it, so I'm not going to bother for now.

Yeah, I'm not taking it easy! The main problem is there's hardly a seal in the engine that doesn't leak oil! Also, there seem to be a few weird internal noises from the motor that are worrying me a bit too.

Leaks.. pfft... just keep topping it up and it'll be fine.
Actually, I'd be surprised if you can actually kill it - yes, some components will die, but they'll be replaceable and the motor will keep going.

yeah, true. It'll be like my old auto. It seemed to be dying for about 2-3 years, until I gave up and ditched it anyway

I don't have any on-road skid pics. I've got a few pics of it on dirt, that were taken by Alex (the Goodz), but just about any car can do that.
As for vids, it's too slow for decent burnouts

Yep, pacies (not sure of the number, but obviously not the comp ones), high flow cat, 2.5" Redback exhaust. Obviously the T5 conversion, XH snorkel an K&N panel filter. Lows all round. The engine is still stock. I was going to get a cam, but have decided I aren't going to waste my money on that engine anymore. I'll just replace it with a good engine at some stage

lol That is awful, also double lol at 4.0 litre V6!
I'll most likely go an AU 4.0 engine. Obviously I'd need to change a lot of the accessories as well, but my power steering pump is leaking onto the alternator, The starter isn't quite as good as it used to be. It would be good to get it all like new, and get some reliability back into it.
