car looks farken hot, any plans for it??

Cars like yours and Daves (ELXR8) show how wrong Ford got it when they decided not to make ELXR's in black.. Hot ride!

Got plenty in the way of plans for it, but little in the way of cash.. ultimate plans would be manual conversion, drop an AU3 220 engine into it, 19 inch fusions with 9.5inch wide wheels on the back with massive dish (pic below) custom leather interior and a few other things..



More realistic plans for the future include, extractors and slotted rotors (both of which im doing in the next week or two) painted side moulds with clear repeaters (not sure about the moulds yet, but will deffo get the repeaters) and a mild cam, some painting on the interior (EL GT style) EL Ghia door trims and painting the spears gloss black, and an AU centre console. All of which are not overly expensive mods but should made a considerable difference to the car.

Didn't drive my car to uni today because it had been raining all morning and i spent all yesterday arvo cleaning it!

why are you putting an AU console in???
it won't meet up with the dash at all.

Was certain i had seen it done before? Maybe not Not fussed if i dont do it, might have a cheap one lined up and see how it goes...

Yeah I thought AU console only worked on the boxcars, won't meet up with the EF/EL dash.

Oh man, that is one tough looking EL! I have always loved these cars, and you have just made it so much better! IMO the EL XR's are the toughest looking XR series Falcons! Great work mate!

Well, some of you may of read my thread on AFF, some not, couple weeks ago some kent decided to jump on my bonnet + roof. End result meaning 3.5k worth of repairs, luckily i have full comp and insurance has come to the rescue, also getting the front bar resprayed, and rear bar resprayed.

The whole roof has to be replaced so im getting a whole new roof so effectivly il be getting almost half my car resprayed in the next few weeks so it hasn't worked out to bad.

Should get it back in time for the peter warren afd which il attend if its all fixed and looking pretty

my roof was repaired after some damage, turned out shit.
I've only just had it repaired properly.

Insurance claim was approved yesty, do booked in to get fixed next week, havn't got an esitmated finish time yet, but hopefully not to long.

I know im digging up an old post.

Yeah, I ben in albury a few times recently, matw got a new engine built up there and I drove him up there a bit, and went there for a club cruise so it could of been me you seen.

Yeah pretty good, got the front bar, rear bar, rear left qtr, roof + pillars, bonnet, and front bar resprayed. Also got the tow bar taken off and the hole completely filled in and smoothed.

Few more updates, now got a 1630 wade cam in it, hitech extractos, 2.5" cat, and a new 2.5" lukey cat back.

Also got some 19" dark agents just waiting for a bit more money to come in and I'll get em red walled :D
