You could say "wow, you sure fcked that car".
Or "it looked better before".
Or even "wrecking that car out would have at least been an honourable death".

That car had way too much wrong with it to bother with, hence my selling it. I still got a RW for it when selling because it took a lot to get it RW the first time I did it, because it was done properly and it still woulda been RW.
If i did anything to it further than what I had already done, the first thing woulda been reshelling it for sure. 70kg of extra wiring and modules that were no longer operational + broken plugs and stuff everywhere put me off.
Just reshell it Jimmy.. in my honest opinion it doesn't look great atm and I know that it's not just the looks that are stuffed on the car .. it's a lot more..

ok hero, i care what you think?
yeah im looking at reshelling it, i want something with a sun roof tho. or an ef/el even.
and when the motor is out might look at putting a stroker kit through it depending on finances. or at least higher comp pistons.
bottom end done best part of 70,000 kms now.
yeah the wiring and modules are all over the place. pain in the ass.
i got the motor sorted tho wich took a fair bit of work but it drives great really pulls hard.
there are some 19" gt rims on ebay im pretty keen on...
thanks heaps for photos guys
and thanks for the abusive comments

LOL at the chrome sticker, extra badge and driving lights from the crackers days. **** that kid had no taste.
No kit + AJR's and it would have looked the best imo. 18 inch GTP's ftl they look like arse compared to the 19's.

No worries cobber...
In all honesty dude, the car just needs TLC, and you already know that. Sunny is generally meticulous in the aesthetic presentation of a car, it's not a standard I could live up to either, in fact I don't and my car looks like shit when next to anything Sundawg owns. At the end of the day who gives a toss, it probably goes hard as fcuk and if you're worried about looks, then swap it into a clean shell and start over.

spins twins?
haha this car melts 14"S tyes in about 2 minutes champ
runs a easy low 14 second quarter with no traction
once i chuck some 4.11s in it will be back into low 13's haha
yeh i know it just needs tlc, i always wanted a gt kit and i had money sitting around so i got one.
not knowing how much work is envolved in fitting one. i liked the way it looked for a while but im going to de kit it and respray it.
might reshell it. has alot of work that is pain in the ass to transfer.
the wiring for my stereo took me all day to run neat through the interior.
and i love my sun roof :0

Yeah I aborted it good lol.
I remember rocking up to a pre-meet for some cruise with snowflakes on one side and stockies on the other. It looked ghetto as. If it had a mother she wouldn't even have loved it.
Then I remember selling it to fanta pantz. I got the RWC then went in to an industrial street and did 3 gutter to gutters. That was good.

Yeah i wanted to buy it from sunny and rip the shit off too lol

yeh i loved the kit aswell but those damn flares are a pain to fit well
i ripped em off today haha and the side skirts, i think im goint to leave the front and rear bar, and put a ticford lip spolier on it
similar to that white eb/ed xr6 turbo look.
not alot since then alesha, cleaned the body up a bit fixed the rear bar. almost finished the stereo finally.
getting some different wheels for it and putting lsd back in it, over locked diffs.
im having trouble getting the gauges to work, any auto elecs good at installing em?
they sit well tho, clear the bonnet. chrome surface rusts a little tho.
im also going to get a twin 3" or 2.5" exhaust made up for it dumped at the diff, make it abit louder :0

4.11s will turn it from a low 14 to a low 13 second car?

wont change much. Someone can fill in on spec of GHIA5L [v] KENAZ8 producing similar times.

Commando wrote:4.11s will turn it from a low 14 to a low 13 second car?
its PB (personal best) is 13.7 but more commonly runs low 14.s so you can say its a high 13s car
and yeah changing diff gears from 3.27 t0 4.11 can take 1 second of quarter time.
problem is i just won an auction for an 3.45 lsd so that wont take 1 second off quarter time.
$200 bucks tho good score.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ford-au-falcon-x ... dZViewItemalso looking at beefing stall up to 3500 or atleast 3000. my mechanic mate specializes in autos and rebuilt autos and he can rebuild stallies, so instead of a new one he can basically toughen my one up,
might be cheaper to get a new one tho not sure yet.

Pete:
Ghia5L (:P) 14.78 @ 91.48mph
Kenaz 14.81 @ 95mph
ebgt302, what the 4.11s give you at the start, they take away from you at the end

I consistantly caned Kenaz off the line but he would always reel me in, hence his better mph but "slower" (pfft... 0.03 is nothing) time
Pity we never raced each other

Was that 13.7 with 3.27s? Do you have any further details like mph, 60', etc?

Id probably go with 3.7 or 3.9's somewhere in the middle.

yeah it was with 3.27's
i ran it ages ago got the slip some where.
im pretty sure my car has a bit more power then kenanz and ghia5l
yeah i figured it would slow my top end, but its slowest off the start with the small stall.
i tihnk with 3000 stall the 4.11s will be to high, but i want to give it a shot. even 3.7 or 3.9 might be the way to go.
