Boosted Falcon

heya guys, i thought i would post a topic on my el, i got it off my dad a few months ago for free so therefore i cant complain, i started looking up and reading more about el's and they started to take my fancy, its still stock at the moment except for a few little things, but yeah since i got her ive put 18" ba xr8 offset mags on it, a doof doof stereo, basically 2 subs, 2 new speakers, amp and head unit hehe,and a 1 farad jaycar capacitor, i no how many of you love the clear taillights so i got a set, i dont care i like them hehe, and also i couldnt resist some rice, so ive started fitting interior neons, 6 at the moment and am getting more when super crap gets more stock in, oh and some of those chrome and black foot pedals just because they make it go faster as we would all no that already, and a jetpilot sticker on the rear window, ive got some e series club stickers on the way, and i fitted it with a $15 kmart 12v air horn, just for the fun of it, the stock exhaust has a hole in it now so monday is when my new 2.5 inch cat back exhaust is getting fitted, hoping to get extractors and a high flow cat soon, and going to speak to a guy i no about getting it dumped on superlows all round, but yeah anyway ill try post some pics up, let me no if they work, all opinions are welcome!

Nah, I didn't include plates, but forgot about badges and suspension. 6 including wing and grill.

yeah i got a wing here i bought from a wreckers for 100 bucks, needs a new coat of paint as its blue at the moment, it was of an el so it will fit good, dunno wether to use it or not thats all, its nothing like ive ever seen for a el spoiler really, ill put it on the car tomorrow, like sit it on the boot and take some pics, see what you think, and yeah, i wouldnt mind a set of clear repeaters, gotta pick em up cheap though, only set i see is on ebay at about 80 bucks at the moment, not my kinda price :S but anyway ill stop ranting and raving

If you can't afford the $80 for clear repeaters, how do you afford to run a falcon with the current fuel prices?

It needs to be lowered asap and loose those bloody neons! Why do teenagers, these days, always think they need neons?

if i can afford the fuel then yeah i can afford the repeaters, im just not paying 80 bucks for 2 bits of clear plastic,

and yes lowering is happening soon, and nothing wrong with the neons, not like there undercar rice burners, just interior ones, i like em,

i actually don't mind the neons on the inside.

looks pretty good mate, sucks about the bonnet though!!!
but yeah dont put neons on the outside at all because nothing screams "i love to be bent over my bonnet and pounded in the ass" more than neons on a falcon

Unfortunately you can't get new ones cheaper than that unless you go NL ones, but then you need the moulding they fit into which is extra bux, and would look weird IMO.

Why the hell do you say that? please explain

See those lines on your tyres, eg the tread? how its pointed forward or curves around forward, there not ment to, that causes the tyre to be a sorta slick cause there is no grip, the lines have to be pointed away from the front of the car so to the back, then the tyres will grip onto the road, and even better in the wet cause its just not forcing the water to the front of the tyre. Under turning or pressure when the tyre flexes it causes the tread to change position, and when they are facing forward it gets no grip cause the tread is on a downward slope. when its facing in back to the car it is on an upward slope. so currently you would have hell of a good grip in reverse.

Id say you have been sold cheap twianese tyres and they are defective, I would return them to the place you got them from and tell them the rotation is fucked up the arrow is the wrong way on the tyre.

There actually decent Nexen N3000's and umm im not being smart but the tread looks to be designed to flow water out the things i think your talking about, from the middle out the sides, and im not a stupid driver but these tyres seem t grip very very well, in wet and dry situations

Nexen N3000s? Cheapest Tyres out there, Start talking Hancook, Bridgstone, Firenza, Perrillis Then you will have good tyres. Nexen are out there with fedral, bct, wynllis.

But yes you have got me, the tyres are the right way around. and the wheels.
