eb-baby's EBII Fairmont Ghia

Postby eb-baby » September 3rd, 2008, 1:04 pm

Thought it was about time I did a quick write up on my car...been bit slack.
Looking for my first car there was no other option for me other than to get a ford....probably would have been put up for adoption if I bought anything else...luckily for me this one came up for the right price and I couldnt be happier.

It's a 1993 EBII Fairmont Ghia....wasn't too keen on the cardinal red...but it's grown on me.

Some of the goodies:
-full leather interior
-sprint body kit
-16" factory rims
-k&n air filter
-extractors
-lowered (not low enough)
- tinted windows (not dark enough)

not really planning on any engine mods for the car...juz gonna try n keep it as neat as i can with tasteful cosmetic mods...im not into turning it into a one of a kind car...juz a sweet cruiser...so here's my plans:
-darker tint
-lowered
-bigger rims - Advanti Zeta hopefully
-clear repeaters
-always been a fan on the xr twin light setup...but i havn't convinced myself of it yet...juz an idea

On with the pics:

Plates are awesome.
Looks to be in pretty decent nick too, and well optioned.
All it's missing is the V8 and a sunroof.

The next time you're having a bad day, imagine this:
You're a siamese twin.
Your brother, attached at your shoulder, is gay.
You're not.
He has a date coming over tonight.
You only have one ass.

Nah seriously this car is sexy as now that the amber and wing is gone and it's on it's guts. Makes mine look 4WD spec lol. Once the bonnet's done it'll be just about perfect.

Hey there's no in-between shots. I can upload one if you want :P

well nothing really exciting to update...just done a few lil things today i been meaning to do for a while...oil change, new oil filer, fuel filter and spark plugs, also tinkered with the pod filter setup...it is now actually being useful and less illegal than it was before. The plans are also in motion for ef/el thermo fans, twinlights (eventually), nolotahane sway bar bushes and trailing arms, and since i recently decided to throw a lot more money at the car than i have been...it should be a relatively quick process :beg: fingers crossed. Now all i have to do is stop spending money on useless ****.

And on with the ramdom pictures :-D

They're superlow King Springs.

The wheels are 16's if that's what you meant to ask...

Well there has been a lil bit more progress....

Last week I managed to pick up a complete ed xr6 twinlight setup and a some woodgrain dash surrounds.

Chucked the twinlights on the other day, couldnt stop myself, just wanted to see them in there...but I assure you they came straight back out lol just gotta stop bein so slack and get them sprayed...cant wait...

The woodgrain went in straight away, along with a stitched leather centre console I nicked from Matt. Wasn't fully convinced with the woodgrain straight away...but its starting to grow on me....
