Boosted Falcon

Well im pretty bored atm so i thought i post up a few pics of my car.
Heres how it looked when i first bought it.




Took it on the great ocean road.



After my EA got written off i decided to do it up a bit so a put a new exhaust and Converted it to manual.
After that i belived it needed a change in looks so i bought an EL grill off pHaT eL and put a bit of mesh in the center. After going on a few cruises,taking off the spoiler seemed to be in fashion so i removed it. I also decided the AU XR rims where to small so i purchased a set of 19" GT-Ps off louisXR6.



Through this time i had also added a few odds and ends to the motor to make it quicker
Anyway i was getting sick of the stocker EF fairmont interior so i purchased a NF Ghia to wreak and pulled out the seats and the cluster to fit into mine.
I also purchased a set of EL Ghia door trims from EFfalcon.




Recently i had it lowered.



And this is how it sits now.




Plans are to rebuild my LSD and throw 3:45 diff gears in it, upgrade my Cam to a bigger one again, extractors, hi-flow cat and maybe next year a turbo if i still have the car.
Im hoping by the end of this year it will be sprayed. Gonna keep with heritage green but might add a gold pearl to it so it stands out a bit more.

Swwweeet Mate. Big Fan. I think everything is right about this car, the stance, the image, everything. Suggestion: Hit your taillights with a can of nightshades .. but looks great as they are as well. What springs did put under it or did you get the angle grinder out?

car is lookin sexual Jack, made me wanna buy an EF/EL for a while, i see the cluster is still there .

thanks guys, the springs are compressed stockers i think i bought them off ed4ltr from memory, and i got pedders shockers all round, its rides suprisingly well. Ive actaully got a can of nightshade in my boot im gonna buy another set of lights just to see what it looks like.

What springs you got in the mont?

I havent seen this thread in a while.

wolfblass- i go to the heidelberg campus, id prefer not to drive my car there though ive already had one car pinched from there.

mad_keen- As far as i know there just standard springs that have been compressed but im not 100% sure on that as it rides to well for compressed springs.

Well after nearly 3 months ive lost all hope in finding my EF, and even though i said id never buy another e series well here i am:
Its a Very Clean EB Fairmont Ghia 5 Litre, mods so far are 2.5 exhaust, lowered, rear venetions and a sunroof.
Future plans are 19" GT-Ps, a Louder exhaust and of coarse....NOS (cheap way to gain a little power). If i do decide to put money into it Later on il buy a pair of AU XR heads and might even rebuild the motor.

Thanks pete, i was tossing up the other day wether to paint the stockies black or not but i have a set of black stockies so i might just throw them on.

looks sweet as mate. 5L, leather and sun roof. can't go wrong
such a shame about the EF tho. looked so nice.
