This Is My Black EB XR6,I Brought It For $2000 About A Year Ago And It Was Pritty Trashed Back Then When I Got It.

Nice car mate. A bargain pickup for 2k with all the stuff it's got on it.

Black smoke doesn't really mean a worn engine. Replace the MAP sensor and Oxy sensor, but there's a fair chance it's running rich due to the mods. You could always go a custom tune with a J3 chip. Galapogos01 on here sells them.

I just thought it would be the bottom end since it drinks more oil then fuel lol. and it knocks every now and then.

i just wana find som1 that could build a powerfull motor with around 5k,well as much power as they can get with that much money anyway...oh yehh and a few people hav said too me it could be the MAP sensor but i wouldnt hav a clue wat that is?

Ah ok then - oil usage and knocking are a different story! MAP sensor is the flat black plastic sensor that sits on the passenger side of the firewall in the engine bay. Has either 1 or 2 vac hoses in/out - I can't remember!

nice car man, there genuine EL GT's aswell and remember black smoke=fuel and white smoke=oil

oil can also be blue smoke

$500 on a low km AU wrecker engine, allow a few hundred in miscellaneous parts, another $100-$200 on a thermo conversion and then your time if you can do it. For under 1k you can get an AU motor in there, thermo & BBM conversion.

then spend the rest on a turbo build

ill post some new pics up soon,betta ones since the one i posted are not too great as you can tell..

theres some newer photos since them other ones are pritty old.
with in the next few weeks bit of luck it will hav EL mirrors EL door handles and an AU console..then the motor will be in a month or so,depending on how quick i can book it in and get it back.
after that just drive the dam thing...

i was talkin about the ED xr twin light front. with the grill and lights joined together...

it use to have them on it but i changed them.
in the last few weeks i've seen about 4 or 5 black EB's around where i live (two of them have the same wheels as me lol) so i dont wana go back to how they look,because they all have the full glass head lights.

naa just coppys,there not even the right colour i dont think,i think there ment too be a darker gold.
i dunno i cant tell genuine to coppys anyway.

king springs been cut 60mm in the back 35mm in the front with with pedders struts.
good all grinder dose the job lol.
