Dylans Sprint - The New Beginning

Postby Fairmont888 » June 2nd, 2009, 7:43 pm

So the plan was to sell the Ghia, buy an EL XR6 and put OED's engine in it. after looking at several EL XR6's and finding them all to be absolute crap in one way or another i got over it and started thinking i would just put the engine in the Ghia... but i once again changed my mind and went in a completely different direction.

Enter sprint

ignore the fact it is missing numberplates, those pics were taken just after my uncle bought it and it was being stored at my house before going to Adelaide. It comes back on Friday and will hopefully be registered next week :D

is it manual or auto mate?
theres not many little things to do on the 5Ls, especially when you've already got a good manifold, TB, MAF and injectors.
tune and diff gears maybe.

its an auto. he needs to send the valve body off to get molested, and some 3.7's. Not sure what type of exhaust it has, or if it has extractors. but it needs go faster bits already!

as OED said it's an Auto. Diff gears has crossed my mind, i'm sure with the collective abuse i will receive from OED and Rollin if i don't do anything to it, something will get done soon

It wont split if he only runs enough boost for just on 400rwhp. If he gets a nice single or a couple of small ones that are bullshit responsive it will have an area under the curve like amanda vanstone and consequently will decimate kunts anytime, anywhere.

no, i have to carry rego application and insurance details in the car with me tomorrow, and i am only allowed to drive directly to work and back home again, i also have to be able to demonstrate to a cop that i am on a direct route to work or home if i get pulled over.

because qld transport is closed on saturdays now, it wont get registered until tuesday if it gets the rwc tomorrow. so no weekend driving for me
