cheers guys!!

yeah i gotta get some tint soon probly before summer, need a 1000wrms amp to power my two subs, bit of a dent and sractch along the drivers side rear quater and bumber needs reparing aswell as a bonnet respray, probly chuck a K&N panel in there for the hell of it, probly a exhaust and extractors sumwere. but thats about it for now.

i would like a manual conversion but dont really know whats involved in doing it and how much it would cost.

i would like ultras but it scrapes enough now with one person in the back lol. white walls sound good, but after like 2 weeks they go brown and look shit. but ill see how we go. i can get em done heaps cheap, my best mates dad does them so well see

Caputo, Im not sure whether you mean it scrapes (the car on the road) or it scrubs (the tyre inside the guard). Are you running spacers at all, cause I use to have King Superlows/Std Shocks with 8mm spacers all around, and it scrubbed something shocking, I got bored of the height so I cut all the springs down to the equivalent of ultralows, left the 8mm spacers out and it has not scrubbed once since, and to tell the truth, when I took it for a drive after cutting the springs, it seriously wasnt that much rougher, it was noticeable that it bounced a bit more but it really didnt feel that different.

The factors that will determine whether your car will scrub or not is simply the height of car, offset and tyre size. Like I said, it scrubbed like nuts, lowered it 15mm more all round and decreased the wheel offset by 8mm each and it no longer scrubs and Im running the same tyres (235/40/18)..

My el is on ultra lows all around compressed 30mm on the front and 50mm on the back... its the lowest street driveable el iv seen in a while... granted I'm on stockies with hubcaps but still I have no scrubbing at all....
Like dumpsta said.. it might just be your spacers on the 18s... but iv seen el's with 20s up inside the guard that don't scrub so have a look at the spacers cuz I bet that's why the wheels are scrubbing

hey
its the wheels on the inside of the guards..every decent size bump in the road hitting it at about 50 or more ( not purposely lol ) it hits the insdide of the guards pretty annoying....the fronts used to scrub the guard heaps bad then i got them rolled..
and i havent got spacers the wheels are replicas made to the e series offset
cheers

Try gettin you back guards rolled... and is it hitting the edge of the guard or the inside top?

caputo - go see the guys at Mag Wheel & Tire Centre in Prospect. They will do a professional guard rolling service. Will probably pay about $170 for 2 outer guards to be rolled.

cheers guys im pretty sure its the inside of the rears that are hitting, but it doesn't really fuss me, it doesnt happen very often only when a hit a bump pretty fast
