EOI - Fibreglass EF/EL XR Bonnet With BA Buldge + EF Flutes

Postby Kaddis » July 7th, 2008, 6:54 pm

Just seeing how many people are interested in getting one of these bonnets?

The bonnet off the KADDIS machine is at a fibreglass joint now getting a fibreglass copy made as the genuine steel bonnet with the buldge on it is fair heavy.

As the guy is mates with my brother he is willing to do more, you are more than welcome to wait until this bonnet is made to see how it turns out. He's also going to make some fibreglass flutes but only EF cat scratch style.

They would fit onto EF GLi, EF Futura, EF/EL XR's.

Not sure on prices but a big approx would be around $700 bonnet and $200 for flutes. Don't hold me to those prices could be less could be more but when i find out 100% ill post up.

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1693 << Look in here for pics of what the bonnet looks like ATM.

The bonnet has no spray jet holes as there is none on the bonnet, as for having a bonnet without the flutes im not sure as the mould will be made with flute holes.

There is alot more time involved with the flutes, also it will include everything to mount strait onto your car including steel front latch.

He did the bonnet for DRDYNO LS1 Tonner if anyone ever seen that and came out mint! I'll try find some pics.

It will be exactly the same as an XR bonnet just with a buldge, your current flutes will fit strait in.

You'ld have to get new struts aswell, given that the bonnet is lighter?
