Falcon S XR8

Postby DAZ666 » April 3rd, 2009, 2:28 pm

G'day Guys,

I just bought a red August 91 Falcon S XR8 manual. I am just wondering if the series 1 had smartlock? It has central locking but I am not sure if this model had a R/C for smartlock? I have had several EF & EL models and an ED but this is my first EB. I appreciate any help with this question.

Thanks

PS. I also have a current project which is a black 89 EA Falcon that has full Fairmont power gear added. Recaro trimmed interior and an elctric sunroof added. It also has a full GT body kit that is cactus! A new GT body kit just arrived a few days ago and will be fitted soon. It also has a later model 5.0 V8 and manual gearbox added, so it's a bit of a beast!

My other main drive car is a very nice black Lexus V8 with 19" Vaults.

No, the series 1 EB did not have Smartlock.
Smartlock was introduced a few months after the EB series 2 was released.

Black 5.0 EA sounds nice!
Throw up some pics of your cars, Lexus included!

Thanks Guys! Yes I did grab the EA from ebay and it needs a lot of work! But it is mechanically excellent.

You can have a squiz at some of my cars on my website. It's the easiset way to see them.
