Having watched your 10.7 clip, i don't rate a car that sits on the line for 5-10seconds spooling as a true 10 second car, as it has been said, different Dyno's give different figures, hell rollin made 430rwhp at hi power and 370rwhp at fat pipes on the same tune...

Sorry mate but 10.7 means shit when you sit there and spool up then launch.

You go when the light turns green if you stuff up then you try again.

im still yet to see an exact story of what has happened or anything.
try explaining what happened to your "mates"
instead of avoiding saying anything factual and still ignoring any facts.

i cant beleive you are still saying the dyno read outs are high.
there is many examples already given of it being actually low.

Mr. CVE do you think snypers car ran a good mph for 231rwkw?? was the there any factors that made it run slower than it should have?

Thanantos: you should go to the drags and watch a few cars.. you'll soon figure out the mph vs kw sort of thing..

10.7 is 10.7 he is saying the time it ran, if you are picking on him ya might as well pick on prob every sub 11 1/4 mile time as they all do it they not doing bracket racing they are just going for a quick time from then they break the stage light to crossing the finish line

Did you launch when the light turned green?

Sorry mate I am a firm beleiver of launching when the light changes mate.

Here is a good example Spoolman's BF Turbo all day running 10's consistently. But sitting there and spooling up them launching. The guy driving it tried to launch when the light turned green and bam 11.5.......

maybe so, but the idea is to launch on the last orange light, not 10 seconds after the green, if you need to do that, it is not a true 10 second car, as it is taking forever and a day to build boost to make a 10 second pass. The 6BOOST corolla copped a bagging when he did it, whats the difference when Hiboost does it?

Finally a real question that is worth answering.
And the answer to that is .... ( sorry shaun) NO.
It is not a good time for the power output.
And there are a few reasons for this, the way his turbo is setup it is very laggy and very peaky. in order to control detonation he has backed the timing off dramatically.
He has lower than std compression, which does not help.
I drove it the other day on the street and commented on how average it was off boost, but at the end of the day he was happy with it and decided to take it to heathcote. He wanted to run FULL street trim, so sub box in and all. std street tyres

For the record the dyno run was done with a different diff ratio to what he has now.

I would expect with some sticky tyres and a nice cold air intake and a tune it SHOULD run low 13's
but it is not up to me.
Oh and it hasn't been dynoed in a fair while so it may be a bit tired, or a bit better, who knows, mixtures could be out, who knows.
It's a bit hard to compare a dyno sheet from a couple years ago to a run at heathcote.

it would have been nice to say launch at more rpm but his tyres / suspension just would not allow it.

thats how its DONE and thats why those BIG BOYS use N20 (NOS) (40hp shot) to get the boost onto the converter quicker, and spend less time at the lights when they compete...

It's a bit hard to compare a dyno sheet from a couple years ago to a run at heathcote.

it would have been nice to say launch at more rpm but his tyres / suspension just would not allow it.

as a good dyno operator you shod know diff gears and what gear is selected makes minor differenct in kw it just moves it to a higher speed ect just changes torque reading as it climes quicker if you dont beleve me try it next time ya on the dyno i have seen it proved

That is evident in my dyno readout in another thread (probably my build thread, can't remember).
