why are you ass holes still doing awake posting on this thread? Im doing a 12hr night shift so I have a excuse. I for one think this thread is shit but didnt have the courage to stop reading!

Why is it that I could do the same trap speed as OED666 (99.?mph)yet still be a 14.2 time vs his 13.7??? one.
I could do a 1.7 60ft with standard xr diff and t5

lol spanner in the works much?

Grandmother's spatula, this thread escalated quickly.

Hiboost, you're a whiney attention whore. This thread is good reading though.

Parfrey wrote:i'm pretty sure he was trying to help by saying synper is getting ripped off because it looks like his car has less power than the dyno says.. alot less.
then everyone arced up cos someone said something bad about cve!

Wouldn't that be upto snyper?
Does he think he's been ripped off, regardless of power?

i can also tell you, shaun's quoted $15k is the cost of the car + everything done to it.
motor/turbo/wheels/interior

shaun turbo'd the car near on 2 years ago.. could you buy an XR6T for $15k then?

those who are 'arcing up' are those who have dealt with CVE, those who have had a before and after dyno, showing the improvements.
if they were unhappy with their product/service they can quite easily voice their opinions, yet none have.

I've had bad dealings with workshops in the past too, but i don't see a need to crush their credibility because they have also produced some great cars.
take what you want from this thread, but i can assure you people will continue to deal with CVE.

and while CVE hasn't physically done anything to my car (except a headgasket 4 years ago) i have spoken to Paul about my car/ideas regarding many parts of my car, be it the turbo/LPG/airbags etc.

I'm closing this thread as i beleive its served its purpose.

The end result is: MPH is indicative of power
Dyno 'RWKW' is indicitive of power
There are many variables
230rwkw != 103MPH

everyone has had their vent.

Ok I only re-read the first few pages in this read....but did we al believe shaun's car would wheel spin to half track LOL? Maybe with a single spinner and 14" butter cutters a 200rwkw car shouldn't have a problem with wheelspin at calder at all with half decent tyres!
