What have you?

Postby vegabass » June 14th, 2009, 5:31 pm

Well as usual I was in a rush after cleaning the car out. There were 3 things behind the car, the vacuum cleaner, a box of shit and my sub box. I wanted to finish up due to the darkness so I moved the box of shit, and the vacuum cleaner. I jumped in the car and SCRAPE, my guts churned as the arse of the car lifted up :(

I ran over my sub box

Driving a friends car home very very late one night...heading through a little town some twat thought it would be funny to grab a sreet sign with a lump of concrete on the end bigger than a basketball and put it directly across the road. Luckily I swerved to a turning lane to avoid it, but holy hell it would have made an incredible mess of us if i'd hit it. It was extremely close though...

Well that story reminds me that my wife ran over my foot with the front wheels and turned the wheel while it was ontop of my foot. Few days off work after that. :drinks2:

The funniest thing I've run over was the rotten husk of a dead wombat. I came around the corner, and hit it in the only soft part... between its head & its ass. The car reeked for ages as the wombat meat made its way inside the inner guard/etc

Umm, I took out a chevron in reverse once, lost the rear bar of the EB for that effort! Rear bar is now held on with wood screws thru the reo.

Oh, I intentionally hit Wayne at the servo coming home from Glenmaggie (dailies FTW), although I didn't think about the car parked in front of Wayne at the time...

I hit a rabbit in a 300C. When we got where we were going had a look for damage and its head was lodged nicely in that lovely big front grill they have :D
