Hey Mate mines an early 92 build pre smart lock

mine is a early eb11 without the keyless entry as well, 02/92 compliance date ,first rego in march.ex ford vehcile

think mine is feb 92 reged has aftermarket keyless entry, but when i spoke to them they said 2 EBI 5L ghia wagons and 26 EBII 5L ghia wagons were built

I stumbled across your thread today, and have enjoyed the read.

The Wagon looks sweet. Are there any more plans for it?

I also have a Ghia Wagon, although mine is a six. However it is Black Pearl, and the only one I have seen. When you rang Ford for info on build numbers, did you just call your local dealer?

IIRC, there was another black EB Ghia wagon, and its a V8, it popped up for sale just after Mark bought this.

Well I have an update after much searching Ive found a new engine to drop in it its not a 5.6L which would of been nice but its a AU XR8 engine it comes with an AU XR8 4 speed auto aswell with 120000ks on them.

So I get a nice upgrade of:
GT40ps and a explorer intake

what power? 185, 200 or 220kw? if its 220, i hear turdbox does a great stock rebuild that will run a 13 one day :lol:

haha its only the baby 185 but its better than a 165 e series engine. It will just have some extractors and 2.5 exhaust on it.

Put a 3" on it, the 185's can move, mine went 14.3 with a manual, stock headers and cats, with a Lokka....

Mark - how's progress going ? Are you going to just do engine swap or put some GFB in her beforehand ? How much did the AU motor and box set you back ?

No progress yet got a todo list first and moving a few cars through kevs workshop before we can get to mine Johns is up next then mine then Petes. ordered a few bits that i need and got a few more to order in the coming days so we have everything i need and im going to be painting the engine bay while the engine is out
