So for anyone whos interested,

I've decided i cbf selling this thing, its worth fark all and its hella fun so i might aswell just drive it.

So with that in mind i got bored and rigged up my nitrous kit on it and i love it nitrous is the shiz. It has done a best of 13.0 @ 112mph with plenty more to go considering i'm hitting speed limiter (112mph) before the line.

However the last few weeks have taken their toll on it the headgasket is now pissing out coolant into the cyls and down the block (was possibly leaking into the cyls before the nitrous, dunno and don't care?) and im not sure how healty the turbo is since its getting up to about 16psi on nitrous it seems to make some funny noises on boost.

At any rate i don't care, i'm on a 6 month holiday from driving atm so stay tuned ;)

So you've ended up with a broken RB instead of a broken windsor?

Put a BF motor in it.

Or a 2J.

I'm sure there are many windsors that have coasted through for an 11.00 or better, with the block in more than one piece...

Hahah stupid NX. Yeah a leg of the engine crane folded down on my hand and split it open so Mr. no license had to drive me to the hospital in the NX haha. Kieren was walking aroumd the hospital smelling of burnt oil and still with no shoes on, and it looked like he'd mopped up the g/box oil with his dreadlocks. It was hilarious. Apparently people in the waiting room would sit down near him, then get up and move somewhere else hahaha.

Thanks Malakai, mucho appreciato!

So much for a daily eh?, after nearly a year of absolute thrashing shes finally given up.

I'm not gonna blame it on nitrous but yeah it probably didn't help, since i bought it its been through 10+ pairs of rear tyres, 20+ quarter mile passes, i've lost count of "street passes" and has had about 7 bottles of gas emptyed into it over a period of a couple of weeks. It ran completely untuned (factory tune) on 13psi and saw 16psi constantly while on the 100 shot so these are probably all contributing factors.

All in all im not fussed and pretty much expected it, gives me the perfect opportunity to go for more HP.

I've got a replacement long motor already and i'll be running a GT35R on an ebay special stainless high mount manifold (at 1/3 the cost of a 6boost manifold i figured it was worth the gamble, if it turns out to be shit i'll get the 6boost one) and a microtech LT12S.

Will definately be running again for when i get my license back, should be fun

I have had a look into my crystal ball and managed to get a good look at the dyno sheet for this car once it is running again, I think it accurately represents the likely outcome considering stock RB25 rods and the choice of new turbo. Before the NOS is even activated!

Brett: I'm trying but only time will tell i spose but i would kill to be there in this thing! I see what your getting at with the graph though, I had my doubts about the 35r too...... i'll order a GT47 tomorrow.

Paul: Yeah the diff is still shit, it twin spins in a straight line but show it a corner its pretty hit and miss. Haven't given it alot of thought yet to be honest but it'll definately be looked at.

Nah the 35r will be a good pump, the thing isn't daily driven and i'm not that fussed with twisty stuff so as long as i can go fast in a straight line a pull a decent powerskid she'll be apples.

While i was thinking about what i wanted to do and considering my options i did think about something with a 1UZ and running a hell of alot of gas but in short the 1UZ doesn't come in a car that im a fan of and sif i'd put a toyota motor in a neeeeeesaaaaannnn..........................unless is was a 2J

Quick update,

Long story short QLD transport has fucked me around again and im not gonna be behind the wheel till april some time which is a little bit shit so the cbf factor pretty much kicked in and i haven't touched this thing much and don't really intend to till the start of the new year.

Since my last update ive installed a greddy knockoff foward facing plenum, top feed injector rail and siemens deka 650cc injectors but i've decided to flog the 35R off and go for something a little bigger in a T4 Frame and journal bearing.

Anyways since i woke up this mornin sober and energetic for a change i decided i might strip the old block for some lolz

Image

One broken compression ring and one amazingly still intact, oil control ring in a bad way, ring lands are completely melted away and replaced with a nice big hole, bit of the skirt melted and the rest scuffed to shit.

Must have gotten a bit hot in that cylinder, i lolled hard.

LOL people call them weak but it took alot of abuse for me to break this one hahaha, they are a good motor.

Knowing what i know now i woulda done an RB25/30 but at the time i wasn't aware it was so easy and i just grabbed the first decent long motor i could find, hindsight is a bitch eh?

Id like 500hp or so but in reality ill just keep pumping more boost and nitrous into it till i get the times i want or it goes pop

yeah I know they are strong one of my mates has a 298.9rwkw rb25 s13 and we rape it and it loves it. the only reason my broke was because when it got put in the 31 the standard gearbox, starter and altinator loom got used and the 33 harrnes of that has the knock sensore plugs in it so it deternated on night the guy only put 95 fuel in it and broke a ring and marked the bore
