Plans:

Picking up tickford head tomorrow

On the lookout for a cent S/C - Vortech or something.

Also getting a 2nd hand bottom end that I will rebuild slowly

I have also :

replaced the two front window regulators so now both front windows work

New antenna

Car has done 173,000 kms and is in pretty good nick considering it's age.

Not bad, whats the benefit of using an EL computer without BBM?

Looks tough with those wheels too!

Wow, you're game with the 2J1 in the engine bay! Good to see how it holds up, mine's in the drivers footwell.

Devlxr - The EL ECu went is as the J3 has definitions for it so much easier to tune. So it kinda had to be that way. I can now put pretty much any tune in the car I need. The only downside is that the pwer/econ switch on the transmission works in reverse - It will be easy to get the EL thermo fans going with it too.

I'm picking up an EL Tickford motor tomorrow - going the throw the head and BBM on the car straight away, whilst rebuilding the bottom end over time.

Jason - They say the 2J1 in it's sealed ABS plastic case is OK to put in the engine bay - so I took their word for it - so far so good and I have splashed shit all over it - as you can see from the pics.

You should buy Rollin's SVO spoiler if he still has it, it's already the right colour and everything.

Have you thought about getting rid of the pin-striping?

Hmmm tempting -

No I haven't thought of getting rid of the pinstriping yet - but yeah - that's a good idea.

I'm also tinkering with the idea of two ford GT strips - but black ones.. - I know a bit bogan - but goes with the wheels and windows
