Keith Linnell Gas conversion or another?

Postby SIXSEATER » November 9th, 2009, 11:11 am

Hi guys,

Im in the process of getting a few quotes to get my el sedan running on gas and came across Keith Linnell on Cheltenham rd Dandenong who is asking for 2k with 2 year warranty which i thought was a damn good deal.

Springy Motors quoted me $2450 and a few other joints near by were around that same price...

My q is, has anyone had any experiece with Keith Linnell's gas systems as he seems to be a honest bloke to deal with or are there others that you guys would recommend..

any feedback would greatly be appreciated.....

BTW Keith linnell uses brc gas systems....

cheers.

A & M Automotive did mine and I can recomend him 100% I drove from the ACT just for him to do it.

Depends on the system your after aswell, if you are after Gas Research I recommend Rapidflow in Hoppers Crossing.

I second that...

I'm not 100% happy with mine still (after 2 years), back 5-6 times. Nice blokes, but their pre-fab kit isn't great for the Windsor. Too much plumbing between the convertor and throttle body. Bad for startup. I have re-fixed some wiring since as well.

I had a 308 VK Commodore, twin convertors, twin mixers. They installed it, was fully custom and worked great for years.

Well, Keith said he could do the conversion on Wednesday however i also got a nice deal from EZYGAS who use a Sprint Gas system who apparently are a sponsor for V8 Supercars?
Im sure this should ring a bell for most car enthuists on here but yeh im now leaning more towards EZYGAS as i've since heard some positive feedback from them?

Unfortunatly a SprintGas lpg system has nothing at all to do with a V8 Supercar...

They may be a sponsor but i wouldn't rest my pros/cons of conversion on the fact they pay to advertise on a Ethanol engined V8 supercar :?
