Spotties in my opinion, do not look good at all in that location.
If you were to put some on, you would need to hide them quite well.

Turbo LTD, that's different and something to look forward to seeing. 160,000 is great for a 1990 car, how many k's does it have now?

um 179,000 i think, she'll hopefully be up and boosting soon, im still working on the intercooler piping and pulling out the LPG system for now. AIT EA looks awesome, that was originally the turbo kit i was tryin to copy.

Thanks man, it's a well designed system in the AIT. Won't win any HP comps but it's perfect for livening up an otherwise stock EA, and it certainly surprises some fellow motorists. That's the things I like about it.

No doubt you will be doing the same with the DA when it's boosted.

Yeah, should be good to eat a few commo's.
i was looking at a pic of your cooler piping on the AIT, it looks like the only way to go without hacking holes in my car.

Yes the trouble is that the setup severely limits the size of the intercooler because the entry and exit need to face the ground. Which kills the ability to use a tall or wide cooler. It obstructs the width that you can use because of where the piping has to go between the k-frame and block and between the a/c compressor and the radiator shroud. The cooler on the AIT's is pretty much as big as possible with the piping the way it is.

ok guys, need your opinion. I'm looking for some wheels for the LTD, at the moment i'm considering either a set of SVO's or a set of 18" BF Cobras in black. what does everyone think?

Yeah i cant wait, probably still a while before she gets some boost. just focusing on getting it back on the road at the moment but some forced induction is definately on the cards. i toyed with the idea of a 5 litre but it's way too much work for not enough performance

OK so haven't updated anything in a while, LTD's back on the road went to Mildura in it over easter which was all good except for my trans thinking it's a 3 speed so i was sitting on 3000 revs the whole way oh and lets not forget my missus with her stig-like driving skill reversing into my rear guard :banghead:
