What color rocker cover / intake plenum for factory look?

Postby skinart » February 7th, 2010, 9:38 pm

So its a dark green EL Falcon, with a GT40 and snort plenum and just wondering what color I should have the rocker cover and plenum and maybe also the compressor housing (and lower BBM) so when a cop wishes to look under the hood its not the "ZOMFG look how many defects I can give this guy" look.

I just want a clean / factory look, that kind of blends in as much as possible.

Thanx guys, have a good one.

Yah, black was kind of what I was thinking about .... I dont want a flat as it looks Mad Max, wondering is a semi gloss would work best? Or just gloss black? hmm maybe I should see if I can photo chop some pics ...

yeah gloss black would be good.
with polished text on the rocker cover and comp housing if it has any.
keep it clean and it would look mint

All black - everything!

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.
