I cant turn on the news anymore without see'n the word "REV HEAD HOONS", These people who trashed Bob Jane arent arent rev head hoons, it was a bunch of fukwits that heard a protest was happening and decided to turn it into a riot, i bet not one of those kents who trashed bob jane gave a f**k about easternats been cancelled, they just wanted an excuse to f**k something up. I was there, like many other car enthusiasts to show my support for the Easternats return. I walked around and admired cars from AllRace and a few other well known race/performance factories, as well as numerous tough/highly modified cars. As soon as the road was blocked, everything got stupid and all the decent cars moved very promptly.
I left, along with many others when it got waaaaaaay too stupid and wheels were walking out the window.
I guess the Charity Cruise that I, yes I got running means nothing now?

TBH If I was there it wouldn't have been for a protest it would have been just for standard Friday night Highway visit to check out some cars, the organised protest was like just something to check out while up there.

Let's be honest, who the fark organises a protest in front of a Bob Jane T-Mart on one of the busiest corners of Princes Highway on a Friday night? With barely any parking or pedestrian / protestor space? And obviously, being in front of Bob Jane was deliberate as fukk. It was a recipe for disaster, and a lot of us probably foresaw a riot coming which was half the fascination or reason in going.

Easternats cancellation

Calder Park would like all parties concerned to be absolutely clear as to the cancellation of the Easternats scheduled to be held at Calder Park from April 3-5, 2010, and therefore present the following facts.

Fact one

The Easternats under the direction of Jon Davison, the event Promoter, is responsible for the cancellation of the event.

Fact two

Calder Park, the venue owner, was only notified at 5:57pm on Monday evening (March 15) via Email of the event cancellation.

Fact three

Calder Park considers the cancellation of the event to be premature.

Calder Park management is willing to proceed with the event should certain contractual agreements be met.

Fact four

Calder Park is generally apologetic to any persons that have entered or who were looking forward to this coming event.

Calder Park is concerned that the blame for the cancellation has been directed at Calder Park and Bob Jane.

The Easternats cancellation is the direct responsibility of Jon Davison and the Easternats Management and their unwillingness to proceed with the event.

All complaints should be directed to Jon Davison, the Easternats Promoter and Manager.
