get a big shoe horn and lots of wd40 and cable ties :good:

Hi Jason. I had considered the same transplant for my el. The prob with the BA engine is that the double overhead cam makes the motor taller than an ef/el. Thats why the BA's have a higher bulge in the bonnet.You will probably have to modify the sump as well. But if you plan to boost. Why bother. In my opinion you are better off spending the extra doe on getting your ef head ported and focus on the periferals that will support the result you want (upgraded valve train fuel delivery and ecu. You can buy a few el/ef engines for the price of one BA engine and you wont have all the hasels of a transplant. But if you are like me and like a chalenge; good luck.

BA engines are like $300 at most wreckers.. the bonnet buldge is for xr8 engines not 6cylinders, and porting the head would probably be one of the last things I'd bother with when turbo'ing a falcon...

Trade it in for a ex-taxi ba, best bang for buck mod an e-series owner can do!!!
