XR6 Headlights

Postby Amon » December 4th, 2007, 5:54 pm

Ive seen alot of cars here on this forum, really nice ones that have had a lot of money and time put into them. But ive always wondered why havent they changed the front headlights from standard ones to round. Personally thats what i would do, but i've always wondered why ppl have left the standard headlights on... Are the standard ones really popular or are the round lights hard to get or fit? Just puzzles me as to how much money ppl spend on their cars and front lights are one of the things that would make a car look so much better.

P.S I dont mean to bag anyone out here, im not saying cars wont look good without them its just me being curious...

it costs around a grand to get an XR6 front on, including painting the grille, which is a lot to just have round headlights...

besides, EA-ED headlights look pretty good when they're new and sparkling

ED XR fronts look shit, that's why people keep standard headlights. :) Personal Opinion of course, the only good looking XR front of all the XR's is the EB (standard lol) and the EL which looks very aggressive and Tuff!

They look good but IMO aren't worth the money and hassle to get them.

Plus turning a car into something it's not is a touch try-hard I think. Unless you go the whole way.

I only like the EF Gli front cos its got no grill, thats why I went with the EF poverty pack :) ..... I reckon the grill generally looks crap on the bubblecars....
EL XR looks the best ;) so aggressive yet sleek

If I had the money, I would have the xr lights fitted on my eb in a blast because I reckon they look mint as. But if I do get the money, I would be spending it on other things first, like rims. So its a win lose situation. Alot to be spent on lights.

anyway on the topic... even if you go non-legit with twinlight (company that makes them) they still cost bout $500, not fitted, not painted. Plus the normal lights are fine as they are.
I'd never do it if i didnt have an XR.
