heeeey everybody, hows it goinn !
names Luke, 17 and a red [P]Plater from newcastle, apprentice mechanic

bought it at the start of the year for $2600, 141,000 genuine kms. It is an auto though.. To be honest i rushed into the buy, the paint isnt that great on the roof, few dents and paint chip marks and rust in a few spots.

One morning on my way to TAFE an old fella ran up my backside which damaged the beaver panel and rear bar sits down on one side now, at the stage of decided weather to do it up or find another in better cond. to start with.
Havent had much luck, then my now ex girl's, ex boyf and mates came around while i was at her place and smashed my front + rear windscreen, drivers and drivers side rear windows, one headlight and spray painted all over it, $600 later... :x

Ive put in:
Pioneer Headeck, Kicker Speaks, and 800w Sony Amp, this weekend im getting my Option Audio 12'' Sub in box, and Option Audio 800WRMS monoblock Amp put in.

I then wanted to lower the rear, so first i cut the rear springs in the rear by 1 and a half coils, and scored a rear set of ultralows for $60 that are in now, want to slam it abit more. Wondering about the front ?????

About a month and a half ago i got a custom made 2.5'' catback exhaust with one muffler, quite loud! Got it done for $295, was thinking about extractors, but undecided to weather i am gunna keep it or not.

To stand out abit i tinted the rear taillights and garnish with nightshades.

Tomorrow at TAFE i am looking at only 2, 18'' rims to put on the front for $200, keep stockies on the back for now, still not sure weather to keep the car, if so i'd like 19's.
and looking to get personalised coloured number plates :)

Pictures coming! Cheers

Oh and as a result of cleaning off the paint, cut my hand which needed stitches for, had a week off work then went back only to be there for 30 minutes when it split back open and had another week off.

So last night after TAFE i drove to dungog and picked up some 18's, and got back late but i wanted to test fit one. So jacked it up and it just went on, but was hitting on the upper balljoint. I dropped it down and had a look though it was still touching. I then tried to driving forwards, but it just grabbed on the balljoint and i was going nowhere.
My question is, will spacers fix this? I have not lowered the front at all, still standard springs. Tyre size is - 245/40/R18

Here is where it hit:

And the rim itself:

Ok no worries, thanks man. I am unsure what model these rims came out on, it has stamped on the back 'ford', but i did get them from a guy from tafe..

Now spacers, do auto stores such as autobarn, supercheap or autobarn have them, or would you go to rim/tyre place.. I want to avoid buying online.

no because i am insured third party fire & theft because of the amount i'd pay for full comprehensive..

cops came, and chased him and the two other guys involved up, but their story was that they were at a party somewhere else so no didnt get them.
i know who they are, i know where he lives, and works, ive seen him a couple of times out and about, with mates, but never looks at me.

dont worry its not the end!

hey, bummer to hear about the damage, lucky they didn't get the rear qtr windows, i got mine done in when some one tried to "borrow" my car and its a pain in the ass taking them out when there smashed.
On a brighter note its nice to see there are other Newcastle boxcar fans, I'm out a bit in kurri though.
You should chuck some thermo fans on, I'm wiring mine up this weekend, YAY no more noisy clutch fan.
