must have been a shit 355 or something then, cos my vn beats mackies vt with ease (i had passenger and 2 subs etc) and mackie was on his own in a t56 vt clubsport with pipes and otr and tune etc
and vk's weight ~150-200kg less than vn's

mines 3.08 diff too...(not close to good match for my car)

mines got 238@ wheels, people hit around 200 with a 304 with high comp, cam etc etc, so a 355 which costs more than a vt 5.7 would surely be able to have more power than me at the least....

i cant agree with that mate, 2 0f my mates run 355s one harrop, one COME racing, both with cams, 10-1 comp and twin throttle manifolds and there both around the 200-210rwkw mark. i think there are very few 5ls that get near 200rwkw. not without solid lifter cams and alloy heads

on the money.
would have to be one tuff as **** 304 to make over near or over 200rwkw, anything over 180rwkw needs a new manifold anyway, regardless of stroke or how big of a dick cam you have.
a good 355 with a proper manifold and cam setup will see 250rwkw as justin said, anything over and you are spending big money for not much gain.
yet people like trent and stef are running solid tens in their VS and VN n/a, but they would be amongst the best 355s in the country.

if you really want a 355 VN, just check the for sale adds on forums like calais turbo, i used to always see 355s sell for around 5-6k which made me lol quite alot
