Holiday Back to Melbourne: what to do?

Postby EF ECTIV » November 25th, 2010, 1:43 am

hey guys,
I heading back to melb on holiday for a week or so with the missus. We're both originally from Victoria, so planning on
catching up with family/friends etc.

The first couple of days we're heading to geelong whilst down there we'll visit the Ford Museum, skilled stadium etc etc

Then after staying with her family for a day or so we're planning on going past geelong further down the coast? Havent
figured out specifics but anywhere good to stay/things to do etc down that way? Got a day or so to kill...

Then once we head back to Melb city we're staying at Crown for four or so days. Going to a cousin's bday party on the sat night,
and planning on also heading to the Melb Aquarium. Any other suggestions on shit to see and do? Thinking about taking a
tour of either Docklands stadium or maybe the MCG as we're both really into our footy but havent completely decided. Other
than that havent really got anything else planned; Any ideas on what to do melb locals?

cheers in advance

Check out the Eureka tower, it's not too bad at all.

I can't think of many touristy things atm but if I think of anything i'll post it up, would you be willing to travel out of the CBD area or are you looking for something around there?

Would have to agree. Sky deck would be something good to see!
